Released in June 2003 between the theatrical releases of The Matrix Reloaded and The Matrix Revolutions, The Animatrix is a nine-part animated omnibus set in the same world as the The Matrix trilogy. The Wachowski Brothers, who were strongly influenced by Japanese animation when creating The Matrix, conceived and supervised this animation project, and wrote four of the segments. Notable animation directors, including Watanabe Shinichiro (Cowboy Bebop), Kawajiri Yoshiaki (Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust), Morimoto Koji (Memories - Magnetic Rose), Peter Chung (Aeon Flux), and Maeda Mahiro (Kill Bill 1), contributed works to The Animatrix, extending the world of The Matrix with brilliantly animated spin-off stories, some of which reveal backstory about characters and events from the films.

No good on US PSP Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
Great product. I bought it to add to my UMD anime collection. Unfortunately, it's region locked, so US PSPs won't play it (until DarkAlex fixes regionlock).
Product came fast and in the condition I expected. A+ service; will continue to buy from Yesasia.com!
