　　法國新浪潮導演杜魯福，可算是有史以來最能夠拍攝雅俗共賞電影的導演之一。

　　杜魯福畢生與電影有緣，他喜歡以抒情輕快的剪接、揮洒自如的場面調度，從創新的電影語言中，拍攝出清新可喜、不落俗套的作品。

　　他的第一部長片《四百擊》，便以半自傳式的手法，將自己對電影的愛滲透於影片之中。安坦但奴從此便成為了杜魯福的銀幕代表，讓他回憶童年生活之餘，亦呈現出杜魯福憤世疾俗的心境，更幫助杜魯福審視自己的感情生活。

　　從《四百擊》、《二十歲之戀》、《偷吻》、《婚姻生活》及《愛情逃跑》這五部曲之中，觀眾除了能夠認識生活豐富多姿的安坦但奴之外，更能認識鏡頭後這位不可多得的大導演－－杜魯福。

　　Francois Truffaut, one of the most widely acclaimed directors in the history of cinema, is also the most famous of the French New Wave directors. He made his name when he was awarded the Best Director at the Cannes Film Festival in 1959 for his first feature film, "The 400 Blows".

　　This semi-autobiographical film begins the life of the character Antoine Doinel, who soon became an icon of French cinema when Truffaut went on to make "Antoine and Colette", "Stolen Kisses", "Bed and Board" and "Love on the Run" to complete the "The Antoine Doinel Adventure".

　　Truffaut used his own experiences and memories from his childhood, and used the "camera-as-pen" style to write his own film. As Andrew Sarris has said, "Truffaut, like Antoine, then and always, is a fool for love".
