UPSET!!!!!!
| This movie is not really that bad!!!!!!! It's obviously the same person that's giving it such a low score. There's nothing wrong with the plot. I betcha the people giving Avenging Fist a low score are Nicholas' fans. They just want to clobber this show's ratings so 2002 could look like a grand movie. Please do not listen to any of those stupid comments. I watched both 2002 and Avenging Fist, and I could honestly say this is a better movie. I like the cyber feel you get. |

very bad... can't even express it...
| This movie bites. I watch a lot of chinese action movies and this is one of the worse. The plot was ridiculous and the dialogue... sigh, don't even want to talk about that. I would not recommend this movie to anyone unless you really like fighting movies. |

Tekken 4 and HK movies...not quite right
| The quality of the movie is so great but there are too much similarities to the newly released Tekken 4... Wang Lee Hom is resembling Jin and Steven Fung looks so much like Hwong Rang. Moreover both of these stories also features an older sister for the main character. Now here is something bad. They are just copying the game characters >_< |

It is okay but not good enough
| The plot seems to be okay. But having the setting in the future don't make the movie that good. And the movie seems like it more of a game the motor combat(however u spell the game).They should try more of another idea instead of stealing ideas for character personalitly. It is really annoying how all the family members has to die and all. |

Bad Bad Bad

As a special effects film, Avenging Fist is pretty good for a Asia-produced feature. But the story sucks so freaking bad, and the dialogue is absolutely horrible (and not even horrible in a funny way either!)-- just plain horrible! Corey Yuen does the action choreography but not even he can save these young popstars from looking stiff in fights. The director had to take multiple cuts in the film to cover up the flimsy fighting of the actors. They shoulda just let Sammo cut loose and kick some arse. Instead he sits on his fatass and does nothing. |

Starts off ok but goes downhill - don't buy it!!!
| The plot of this film is implausible and doesn't flow well and the screenplay is poorly scripted. Generally, it's glaringly obvious that the makers have relied heavily on the visual effects and not bothered to develop very much else. As a result, a lot of things do not quite add up. The romance in it is underdeveloped - the couples meet once/twice and somehow decide that they love each other to die for the other person. Yeung Gong Yue is also pseudo-killed off by merging into Fung's body (what???). The acting is mediocre and the dramatic fight at the end is a huge let-down. All in all, this film is hugely disappointing. The all-star cast do nothing to rescue this film. Ekin is probably the best part (and he is in it for about 20 seconds). You'd be better off re-watching Stormriders or 2002. |
