COULD BE A BETTER ONE
| AGAIN, I BOUGHT THIS SERIES BECAUSE OF PETER HO. PETER WAS THE LEAD ACTOR IN THIS SERIES AND HE ACTED HIS PART VERY WELL. THE STORY IS BASED ON HISTORY AND THERE WASN'T ANY SURPRISES TO THE ENDING, HOWEVER, TOWARDS THE MIDDLE PART OF THE SERIES, I COULD FEEL THE WRITER OF THIS SCRIPT WAS TRYING TO STRETCH THE STORYLINE, THUS, MADE ME FEEL A KIND OF BORING. I FINALLY SKIPPED A FEW DISCS AND JUST WATCHED THE FINAL ONE. I HAD EXPECTED THE FINAL EPISODE WOULD SHOW MORE VIGOROUS FIGHTING SCENE BETWEEN LEE SAI MIN AND HIS TWO BROTHERS WHEN THEY WERE FIGHTING FOR THE THRONE, BUT THERE WAS COMPLETEY NONE! ACTUALLY THE LAST SCENE SHOWING PETER SITTING ON THE THRONE WITH THE KING'S COSTUME AND ALSO A FAKE MUSTACHE STICK ON HIS UPPER LIPS WERE REALLY RIDICULOUS! THIS SERIES SHOULD BE MUCH BETTER IF IT'S CUT TO A MINI SERIES. |

Peter Ho is the most handsome Chinese Emperor
| Peter Ho is so cute and handsome in this series. You will love the love story between Li Shi-Ming (peter ho) and princess ruo shi(gao yuan yuan. Peter is so kind and nice to her (princess). The only thing that i don't like is the ending, it's too sad for Li Shi-Ming, but don't worry he won't be alone, a girl will stay with him at the end. Moreover, the ending song is so good and romantic, the lyrics describe exactly the character,emotions and wishes of Li Shi-ming to his dearest lover. I would wonder if anyone knows where can i found this ending song sing by a duo? |

excellent
| i love this movie, from the beginning till the end. it will take u back to history. the stories never end, i watch the whole day and cant stop changing the disc. intrigues, how can people manipulate and turn the tide around.i like this movie because all the actors played their part pretty good and at the end the whole thing make sense and have their own reason. its about destiny and how people deal w/ obstacles and how they accept or deal the consequences. good story. gao yuan yuan and peter ho, love them both. |
