　　周定發(周潤發 飾) 為金融經紀，偶然下認識了時裝店老闆 Joey (王祖賢 飾) 和空中小姐 (葉蒨文 飾) 。魚與熊掌，周難以抉擇，最後和二人分手分別於巴黎和美國結婚。為免王、葉兩女識破，周常運用小聰明及借助好友志雄 (李子雄 飾) 而得以瞞天過海。

　　某天，周錯誤相約Joey 和Sally 二人同到北菲餐廳用膳，兩女在這機會下認識並成為好友。周最後會否被識破？還是仍得享齊人之福呢？

　　In this delightful screwball comedy, Chow Yun Fat plays a stock broker who me 2 women of his dream on the same night - boutique owner Joey (Joey Wang) and air stewardess Sally (Sally Yeh). Unable to say no to either one, he ended up marrying them both, one in New York and the other in Paris. When the wives befriended each other, he solicited the help from his buddy Hung (Waise Lee) to get him out of each tight spot.

　　Sit back and enjoy the roller-coaster ride as the two-timer goes out on a limb to juggle between 2 lives, and pulls himself out of one disaster after another.
