Looks like a remake of "The Haunting" by Jan de Bont:the younger generation being bound with old curses for an ancestoral sin,but this using doll spirits like other doll-haunting movies. But the feminine relationship between the doll and the lady sculptor is touching. I dropped tears when the girl in red cried and lay against her. The ghost transformation, however, from a fierce-looking red-eyed angry spirit back to an innocent-looking girl in red pinafore could have been gradual instead of sudden, or just look almost the same in the red pinafore. There is a little reflection of the wasteful human nature here,though, that makes it meaningful:a tendency of abandoning old items(a doll in this case) still in good condition and blindly seeking the new and fashionable.It would have been intellectually effective if this reflection was done by an environmental or welfare documentation.:P |

must watch this if u r a human
| I just watched this in Madarin with english subtitles as my version has a madarin dubbed and it's original track, korean. really love this film like mad. it has horror, thriller and suspense. it's not boring in fact. it's an excellent movie. other films i recommend: Pulse, Wishing Stairs... |

definitely see this!
| this movie was great. it was really scary and had some good characters. the story was sad and made me cry a little, but it also freaked me out at times. the ending was awesome!!!!!!! i HIGHLY recommend this movie!!! |

this movie is one of my favorite! i loved it becuase it's not just about scaring people off, but making them sad too! i like the plot and so as the setting of the story. actually, lim eun-kyung is my fave actress... but be honest, she really did well on this! i hate the ending coz it made me cry... i wouls suggest that mina should have lived so that there can be doll master part two! hahah! i'll be watching this movie over and over again! this is fantastic...! |

| the movie is so cool and has little bit of puzzles, trying to figure out who's the killer, and lim eun kyung played very well in this movie and she is so pretty, cute, beautiful, whatever it is, and definitely the movie is cool... :) |

Who is she?
| Well I find it good i dunno why but im not really fond of playing with dolls but when i saw that the dolls that were used there has some what a little life in them it made me think that their not that bad at all. and by the way who is the name of the girl that played the doll with a spirit named "mina"??? please tell me she is so pretty. and if only really she's a real doll i'd keep her. |

very good movie...
| "The Doll Master" is a pretty well made movie... Its not all that scary but it gets you sometimes when the doll comes alive. Some parts in the film was pretty confusing to understand, but if you watch it over a few times then you'll understand it... I recommend this movie to those of you who loves Lim Eun Kyung films. By the way Lim Eun Kyung, shes a very beautiful lady, I have to give her credit for this movie, because this movie was one of the best I saw that she played it... |

i could not sleep.
| i watched it on halloween night with couple of my friends and we were def. screaming haha. i guess u can say the doll thing is overplayed but the movie just gets you thinking about the flaws of human nature. PLUS the dolls are very well made! thank god i never played with dolls when i was little :P |
