Acting superb, plot downer
| While being very very long, the series is carried very while by Dicky (whose hilarious!) and Nic (just tears yours heart). The acting was solid by the actors, and Nicholas did an amazing job playing brooding without being stupid/boring. I literally cried several times as the plot is a downer with many unhappy endings... If you like downers, or really like these actors, still a must-see! |

It Went To Good To Bad To Good
|
Me being a fan of Nicky's action flicks I got this. At first I liked it then didnt, but then back to really likeing it. By the end of the series I realy got into it, so much that I realy felt for the characters. I mean Im a guy and I have to admit I cried by then end. I first regretted buying this but by the end Im glad I did, its one of the only few shows that really touched my soul. |

| This series is a complete waste of time. As some of the other reviewers said, if you're not a Nicholas Tse or/and Dicky Cheung fan, don't bother with it. It has nothing to do with the infamous novel and the slap stick comedy is really annoying. The best adaptation is still Tony Leung's version from the 80's. This version had more of a love story than fighting or even about the twins. Sigh...the only reason why I didn't give the series zero stars is because once I got over my disappointment, there were some good moments towards the end. But over all, I will not be revisiting this series or recommending it to anyone but a Nicky and Dicky fan. |
