Why did it won awards? Customer Review Rated Bad 5 - 5 out of 10
Yup the question laying in my mind was why did it won awards? another one of those mysteries if you ask me. the plot of the story is a unrequited love of a teenager to her professor. having said that, theres nothing more interesting in this movie except the connie francis music. It went and its gone!

Not really my kind of movie Customer Review Rated Bad 3 - 3 out of 10
Well, I don't really think this my kind of moive. I wanted to see romance and comedy. I got a little of both.

What I really got was a sad movie. I really don't like sad movies and this was one really sad movie. I don't like how both teachers didn't get to be together at the end. Also I don't like how both ended up leaving the town. Then, I just don't like the old style look of the movie.

This is not my kind of movie. But if you think you may like the stuff I just said, you will like it. I say rent first before buying it.

After watching this movie.. Customer Review Rated Bad 4 - 4 out of 10
I have just watched this movie and would like to write a review of it while it is still fresh in my mind.

When I found this movie online, I decided it would be one of the first I would buy because of all the great reviews and a storyline that was quite interesting. What I got from it was only dissappointment.

Unfortunately, this movie was not at all what I expected. The quailty wasn't that good at all, which could be both a bad and a good thing considering this movie is supposed to be based in the 1960s.

The girl who plays Hongyeon, the 17 year old student, I thought was a good actress, but her character was terrible. I expected to see many times when her and Suha (her teacher) were together, as described in the movie's description, but there were barely any times when there was actual contact and discussion between them to make her think he felt the same way about her.

Altogether, this movie is truthfully slow-paced, without much excitement at all. I'd reccommend ONLY seeing this movie if you like one of the actors/actresses, but if not, you will probably end up being dissappointed.

Wonderful Movie! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
I have been searching for this movie for a while and I finally found it. It brings delight to the heart to watch a show like this. The actress who played the mature student was incredibly good. One could believe she was 17. She was so pure and innocent and one could feel her playfulness and genuine love towards her teacher. No need to say, Lee gave his best performance in whatever role he plays. He is silly, warm hearted and generous towards his students. I love the part when he tried to erase the graffati in the washroom with his shoe. Soothing and delightful and touching and great performances by everyone, including the children. Smiles come from within the heart. I am surprised not too many people has discovered this wonderful movie.
