Zhang Ziyi's Hollywood career has been going at a gallop. After kicking bottoms in the blockbuster sequel Rush Hour 2 (2001), the top Chinese actress landed the plum role in the critically acclaimed Memoirs of a Geisha (2005), and provided her voice for the animated movie hit TMNT (2007). This year, she made a bold move and tried a different direction with The Horsemen. Directed by Jonas Akerlund (Spun), the visually striking thriller stars veteran leading man Dennis Quaid as a police detective who is hardened by the recent death of his beloved wife. In his investigation of a series of gruesome murders, he meets the adopted daughter (Zhang Ziyi) of one of the victims, and gradually discovers a terrifying link between the suspects, which appears to have something to do with the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse as described in the Bible...
