The Iron Ladies in the name ot the team of the transvestites and transsexuals who became famous in Thailand for winning the national men's volleyball championships. However on one gloomy day after their win, the team splits into two-financial support of Kitti. In Bangkok, Nong is hurt when he finds out Kitti has appointed Nong's arched-enemy and hater of gays, Muangman, as the team leader. Nong asks Mon to take him to Xishuang Banla in China to visit Pai. Now everyone, Jung and chai as well as Mon, Nong, April, may and June are traveling to Xishuang Banla? And there is an added surprise because Wit and Coach Bee are also there! It is then they reach the understanding theat Pia has planner to get all all the former friends together again. In Xishuang Banla, the Iron Ladies are invited to match with the local team. Old wounds are healed, and the magic of the Iron Ladies returns. The crowd goes wild. Later the team goes back to Lampang, where their story first begin, in order to become the representative team for District 5... while on the other side of the net is their eternal enemy Muangman. Don't miss the dramatic comedy for all genders, and for all viewers who love to laugh until they cry.

Nowhere near as good as the first.

This film is nowhere near as good as the first Iron Ladies film. Some parts do drag (no pun intended). This film is at its best when showing some of the histories behind the characters, including how some of them finally came out of the closet. Also of interest to see the real life Iron Ladies play against the film version of themselves. If you really loved the first movie, you'll find some of the back stories interesting and be curious to see the real Iron Ladies in action. If neither of these sound appealing, don't bother. |
