Hilarious! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
I think this is a GREAT movie! It's hilarious, but at the same time, a great TRUE story about a gay Thai volleyball team. After watching this movie, I wanted to hang out with gay guys!

ROCKY meets ROCKY HORROR Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
It¡¦s difficult to find a positive film about homosexuals in the Western media but it¡¦s nearly impossible to find one in the Asian world! If gays are portrayed at all, they are over exaggerated stereotypes meant to be laughed at or to evoke feelings of disgust. Iron Ladies is a well-meaning film but quite often falls prey to the conventional. The story is based on a real life men¡¦s volleyball team comprised mainly of gays, transsexuals and transvestites. This was a hugely successful film in Thailand; in fact their most successful film to date both in Thailand and International as well. So popular, a sequel is now production. Mon is an amateur volleyball player who is constantly rejected from teams because of his homosexuality. His luck changes when the Lampang Volleyball Team gets a new coach. Much to the disappointment of the guys on the team, the new coach is not only a woman she¡¦s a lesbian. Mon convinces his best friend Jung, a flamboyant transvestite to tryout for the team. Much to their surprise they get selected only to have the rest of the team (save one) quit in protest. Mon and Jung enlists help of their fellow ¡§sisters¡¨ fill the vacancies. The rest of the movie is of course predictable but nevertheless wacky and wildly entertaining. Iron Ladies gets an A for effort, but only a C+ for execution.

Ng Kwan Yu's first production is great, It's a Thailand movie, but still good. The voices of Ekin, Mok Man Fai, Stephen Fung, Wyman, Kuk Tak Chiu and Ng Kwan Yu self is good. A special Movie for old and Young
