Director Chor Yuen directs an epic tale about a 100 year-old grudge between warring clans in The Jade Tiger. Di Lung stars as Zhao Wuji, son of the master of Dafeng Hall, who finds his father's headless corpse on the eve of his wedding! Zhao Wuji seeks revenge immediately, but he gets entangled in the machinations of the Tang Clan, who attack him with a variety of martial artists and deceptive trickery. Undaunted, he brings the fight to them, and infiltrates their ranks as a member of another gang. But more surprises, plot twists, and devious double-crosses occur, as the 100 year-old grudge between the two clans heats up, leading to a blowout climax! Entertaining and action-packed Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10

The viewer almost needs a road map to follow all of the plot twists in this Di Lung action flick. I was not surprised to learn that the movie was based on a Gu Long novel; it feels like three hundred pages of action have been compressed to fit this 100 minute frame. However, the filmmakers pull it off well and "Jade Tiger" will keep you on the edge of your seat. Very entertaining and very highly recommended.

The 3rd and among the best !! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10

This is the 3rd Chu Yuan directed Ku Lung novel swordplay, after "Killer Clans" and "The Magic Blade". Together with the following "Clans of Intrigue" and the later "Heroes Shed No Tears". It made up the best 5.
Full of characters, intrigue, suspense and action !!

A wu xia masterpiece Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10

This is an excellent movie with many twists and turns in the plot. Many Shaw stars shine in their respective roles especially Shih Szu and Hsiao Yao as Ti Lung's wives. To find out why he has 2 wives,you will have to buy this movie.
Derek Erh is good as a baddie and Lo Lieh also adds a touch of humour to this otherwise somebre movie. As for Ti Lung,what can I say? He is charming,charismatic and debonair as always. Buy this.....you won't regret it.

This is one of the best Chu Yuan's movie adapted from Ku Lung's classic novel:- Great cast, strong plot and well direction. Highly recommended for all who loved suspense, thriller, romance and sword-fighting.
