Hung Hei Koon is undoubtedly among the popular martial arts heroes in Chinese folk tales, with his stories being staged in many films such as The New Legend of Shaolin featuring Jet Li as Hung Hei Koon. The Legend of Hung Man Ting revolves around Hung Hei Koon's son, with a cast led by Taiwanese singer/actor Benny Chen. TV fans will find many familiar names in the supporting cast: Dicky Cheung, Sheren Tang, Amy Chan Sau Man, Ho Mei Tian, and Jacqueline Li Xiaolu. Together they deliver an engaging drama filled with dazzling action!

The action drama starts with Hung Hei Koon and his wife being sought after by numerous swordsmen. Their son Hung Man Ting gets lost during the exile and a kindhearted opera singer adopts him. Growing up to become a righteous young man, Hung Man Ting (Benny Chen) devotes much of his efforts to combating local gangsters and tyrants. Fate allows him to cross paths with his heroic father again, and the two join forces to strike back against the culprit who once destroyed their family!
