One of the worst Jin Yong's adaptation Customer Review Rated Bad 0 - 0 out of 10
One word can describe this series: TERRIBLE

If u have seen any Jin Yong's movies you would find that this adaptation is by far the worst. There has been severe changes to the story line, which did not improve the plot, but destroyed the story well-know to viewers. The acting, costume design to plot were plain BAD. For Jin Yong's fans - steer clear of watching this series: you will be shocked at the poor acting and amazed that "The Legend of The Condor Heroes" can actually be that BAD.

OMG Customer Review Rated Bad 4 - 4 out of 10
I can't believe this score is so high. This series was HORRIBLE! A lot of the experts agree. Even JY himself says so. This one is changed WAY TOO MUCH from the original story. And there are also lots of minor mistakes as well. A few examples are XLN's set of clothe is suppose to be complete WHITE, not blue and white or whatever else she wore. Another is Yang Kang's death is totally messed up as well.

Terrific but why only view people like this series Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
Although Richie Ren is too old to play Yang Guo , his act is not dissapointing and eventhough Jacklyn Wu is not beautiful enough (Idy Chan is much more beautiful than her) to play Xiao Long Nu , Jacklyn is elegant. I think a disturbing problem in this production is Xiao Long Nu' costume. Xiao Long Nu is supposed to represent hollyness which is always related with white while in this series Jacklyn always dresses in black. Yet, their act is more than enough to cover this problem. Richie plays his role extraordinarily as naughty but sincere and faithful Yang Guo. On the other hand,Jacklyn acts perfectly along this series. Xiao Long Nu has to be tender outside but strong inside. Although the character she plays lack of tenderness, she gives the audiences impression of graceful, kind, and tough Xiao Long Nu. Jacklyn's stupendous performance is at the end of the series when Xiao Long Nu forgot how to speak. It's superb! This series has a lot of good casting such as Sun Xing (as Guo Jing) and Chen Hong (as Xiao Long Nu's sister). Finally, I think this production (by Yang Bei Bei) is definetely worth-watching.
