The NAME - 그가 이 가을 감성을 안고 돌아왔다
2002년 1집 “The First Scene of 名字” 발매 당시 ‘제2의 브라운아이즈’ 라는 찬사를 받으며 화려하게 가요계에 데뷔한 The NAME. 그가, 4년여의 긴 침묵을 깨고 드디어 2집 “Second Chance To Fly” 를 들고 팬들 곁으로 돌아왔다.
The NAME 2집은 미디움과 마이너 R&B, 그리고 힙합이 가미된 R&B, 또 첫 곡인 ‘This is me’와 같이 아카펠라 등 다양한 색깔로 팬들의 음악적 욕망을 채워줄 곡들로 가득 차 있다.
SG워너비, 김종국 등을 프로듀싱한 조영수가 직접 프로듀서를 맡고, 작사가 윤사라, 안영민 등과 다이나믹 듀오, 신인 힙합가수 ‘All Black’ 등 실력 있는 뮤지션들이 작곡과 퓨쳐링으로 참여해 앨범의 색깔을 한층 다양하게 해 주었다.
또한 기타에 함춘호, 홍준호, 베이스 신현권, 드럼 강수호, 건반 길은경, 하모니카 하림 등 쟁쟁한 뮤지션들이 함께 참여해 팬들의 귀를 더욱 즐겁게 해 줄 것으로 기대된다.
4년간의 오랜 공백 후 다시 돌아온 The NAME.

The Name works with Brown Eyed Soul..
| The Name is definitely a different person how had one previous album and I can say this album is totally different from his 1st and 3rd album. I think this album is the most unique out of the 3 because it signifies RnB and Soul. Track 9 has featured artist "Jung Yup" from former disbanded group "Brown Eyed Soul" .. I've been a fan of Brown Eyes and Brown Eyed Soul before they've made their 3rd and 2nd album. As for today "Brown Eyes" and "Brown Eyed Soul" has already re-united...Obviously The Name has worked with Brown Eyed Soul for this album as you listen to his vocal style and music style.. it will explain. Thanks to The Name in 2006 for bringing back similar RnB/Soul style music closest to the works of Brown Eyed Soul.... This album was a great wake up, reminder, and memory of Brown Eyed Soul. THANKYOU "THE NAME" keep up your works... we need more sounds like this in the music industry! |

The Name is not BROWN EYES... but vocals is also ok. If you want to check out Brown Eyes (Yoon) check this link and you'll find him as Yoon Goon (Brown Eyes) also here in Yesasia. Now if you like Brown Eyes (Na Ul), his now solo as Brown Eyed Soul. Brown Eyed Girls is his Band. But both Yoon and Naul are great artist. You should buy all their albums. |

Ok to make it clear..
| Alright.. this guy is actually not anyone relating of brown eyes nor brown eyed soul.. but i've listened to it alot.. I can say hes barely like Naul.. difference is he sings with an out of balance shingle to his voice.. his vocals are not as high as Na-uhL.. I can tell you that Track 9.. 1st verse.. he sounds like Jung Yup from BrownEyedSouL.. then his 2nd verse he sounds like himself once again.. unless he can do tricks with his voice! and I can bet more on that!.. ok hes pretty talented.. its been along time now with BrownEyedSoul 2nd album out and everything.. I can really say he doesn't sound like naul at all but I can say is this is another rare voice to korean music industry. |

SECOND CHANCE TO FLY?.........
| I'm grateful to the previous reviewer for the information relating to Brown Eyes. I bought this album without hesitation and I might just have found Brown Eyes again. I listened to the first several tracks last evening and didn't think it was Brown Eyes or Na ul who was in this album. I resumned this morning and I think I have found Brown Eyes' voice blue print and unique singing style in Track #12. I was just so happy and moved beyond words. The jacket on the CD is mysterious. It does not contain any picture of the group. Does the title THE SECOND CHANCE TO FLY, means that Brown Eyes are together again? Too bad that I can't read Korean, so I have no idea about any infornmation given in the CD. Even if THE NAME is not Brown Eyes, I just love the excellent and soulful voice of the group. |

| ok im sorry yall to tell the truth.... IM TOTALLY CONFUSED OF WHO THIS GUY REALL IS.. SOUNDS ALOT LIKE NA-UL OF BROWN EYES BUT THEN AGAIN SOMETHING TELLS ME IT MIGHT NOT BE HIM OMG... LOL ANYWAYS HE SOUNDS REALLY GOOD.. I HEARD HIS PREVIEWS AND WOW REALLY NICE MUSIC.. MORE SOULFUL THAN HIS FIRST DEBUT.. SO IF YOUR A FAN OF BROWN EYES, BROWN EYED SOUL, OR NA-UL HIMSELF.. THIS IS A MUST LISTEN! :) |
