Debuting in 2004, The Nuts consists of Kim Hyun Joong, Kang Il, Kim Woo Kyung, Park Joon Sik, and singer/actor Ji Hyun Woo who appeared in TV dramas such as Merry Mary and Over The Rainbow. Filled with beautiful ballads, their third release Could've Been... centers on love as its theme and contains both pop and rock versions of Jjeom jjeom jjeom, a beautiful sweeping ballad composed by Japan's "Queen of Winter" Kohmi Hirose (Track 4, 10). Sprinkling the group's distinctive flavor into its melancholic melody, the song reaches down to the very core of one's broken heart. Some other key players who pitched in for the album include Lee Tae Yoon, Shin Dong Woo, and Han Sung Ho. Interestingly, the album's composers also participated in overseeing the whole production to elevate the quality of the overall sound.
