Bought this a while ago, but.. Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
I bought this 2 years ago, but didn't review.

This is actually my favorite film by Makoto. The music is beautiful and the story told touches the heart. The art is simply beautiful and I love the complex parts of the plot. It mixes many genres like sc-fi, romance, and mystery.

It's Makoto at his best and I recommend this to anyone. ^_^

Long and tedious Customer Review Rated Bad 7 - 7 out of 10
I purchased this after watching the amazing 'Voices of a Distant Star' and had high expectations of this movie. Once again the creators merge science fiction with romance. However, the reviewer feels that the creators are less successful this time round.
Whereas 'Voices' was only 30 minutes long, 'Place Promised' is a whole 90 minute movie length. The movie feels tedious and is very slow moving. I feel that the movie may be better if it was shorter in length. The relationship between the main characters are less striking this time round. Thankfully, the soundtrack and artwork is still of very high quality.
Overall, it is a very decent anime, but the magic simply isn't working in this second attempt. Better luck next time.

Nice! Customer Review Rated Bad 9 - 9 out of 10
Bought it with Voice of the Distant Stars. This one is less better than the Voice of the Distant Stars. In my opinion, you should buy two together 'cause it's similar story line except the other one is base on alien invasions and this one is alternate realities. The meaning of this one is less better than the Voice of the Distant Stars because it's too long and it can be boring with the story.
