Wong Jing returns to the well for more "chasing girls" wackiness in The Romancing Star III, a similar but not-quite direct sequel to the earlier Romancing Star films. The lovelorn fellows in this installment are a motley bunch: Lawrence Cheng, Sing Fui On, and even Wong Jing himself! The boys work at Stanley Fung's car garage, but his rival James Wong has a competing business that employs young girls as the mechanics! The girls are spectacularly attractive, and include such HK cinema luminaries as Vivian Chow, Chingmy Yau, and Sharla Cheung Man, meaning the boys are primed to chase them all over Hong Kong. But they lack the skills to woo the ladies, so they call the Love Doctor (Andy Lau), who teaches them the unbeatable "13 Ways to Seduce a Woman"! Even more gags, hijinks, and pronounced silliness abounds in The Romancing Star III, another hilarious boy-chase-girl epic from the mind of Wong Jing!
