No “swordplay” filmmakers were more respected than director Chu Yuan and novelist Ku Lung. Between 1975 and 1980 alone, they collaborated on more than a dozen popular, memorable tales. So this spirited 1980’s production was both an homage and continuance of those great days, as no less than three kung-fu choreographers worked with such fine kung-fu artists as Shaw’s first great international star, Lo Lieh, and the amazing kicker from the cult “venoms” films, Sun Chien, to win the “Martial Arts World” championship….!

Another Chu Yuan - Kung Lung 's stereotyped movie. Pretty interesting plot . Actress Wong Hang Sau is adorable but actor Liu Yong's appearance looks weird. Overall comments: still worthy watching for Chu Yuan's fans. |

"The Spirit Of The Sword" Anthony Lau is very best style and amazing sword, it means is can revenge Saburai hurt brother (Water) (Elle Leung(aka Yueh Hua)) by Holy water sword, Larry Wang (Fire) (aka Lo Lieh) although is evil, the starring is very good. Land (Yang Zhi Qing) first was evil, but he thought about it, change pure. I felt very comfortable and like ¡§The Spirit of the Sword¡¨ the movie. I like it. |
