The Threat of Love, a TVB drama released in 2000, is without a doubt one of the first series that is considered daring and innovative, breaking away from the standards of the usual TVB format, leading the way in a new wave of TVB dramas.

The series consists of ten individual tales dealing with various aspects of human relationship, love and sex. Every story has its own theme, from homosexuality, May-December love, male-female relationships and love for one's parents. The Threat of Love uses a romantic and heartwarming way to tell stories of modern day relationships, bringing out the delicate and fragile emotions in a realistic manner.

Starring Lawrence Ng, Sheren Tang, and Nancy Sit, they need to adopt different roles in different stories, taking on a great acting challenge. A critical smash hit, TVB produced The Threat of Love 2 in 2002. Sheren Tang, who also starred in this series, won the award for "My favorite top quality artist" in 2003.

i watched the Threat of Love many times already. Sheren Teng is a very great actress. she should have won a TVB award for all her great acting jobs that she have done. she for real deserve it. i also like Lawrence Ng as her partner in this series. they play many different kind of characters and each story is different. some of the stories are funny. i enjoy this show.

All the 10 stories are very interesting and impressive. All the actors/actresses act very professionally especially Sheren Tang. She displays great versatility and talents in different roles.
