where's that one song?! you know which one...
| I'm happy to see remastered versions of Chihiro's works in one nice little package, but unfortunately the collection here doesn't quite measure up. The majority of these songs were first released on "Insomnia" and "This Armor." Some crucial tracks from "Sugar High" are "like totally not here, man!" And what about the single version of "Little Beat Rifle" or "Arashi ga Oka" (it kills and you know it) and heaven simply cannot forgive the omission of "Beautiful Fighter." Wha? If you're looking for a real ultimate collection of Chihiro's works, it's best to just buy everything she's ever put out and make yourself a jammin' mix CD. |

Is there something better????

Since Chihiro quit with her old record company MelodyStar/ Virgin Tokyo which is actually a part of Toshiba EMI it was a very long time we didn't her anything from her expect one new single. Now one of Japan's greatest singer is back with her BEST OF compilition just to let us know that she still exists. This is truely one of the Jpop highlights this year and a perfcet christmas present for everyone that likes japanese music. The only thing that could be disappointing is the in my opinion uncompletely tracklist. Some of her best songs like "Edge", "Cage" or even "Beautiful Fighter" are missing. But maybe that is only because of the lack of space on this cd. Because she has got so many fantastic songs. They're all simply beautiful and touching, sometimes you could nearly cry listening to her songs. A must and So A+++++++++ ^_^ |
