The Vengeance (End) VCD

As its title indicates, Vengeance is a series about revenge - revenge of an innocent girl on a man who destroys her whole family. Hoi Chiu (Irene Wan), a simple girl brought up in an orphanage, reunites with her mother and learns that Kiu Wing Fat (Wong Wei) is the culprit who destroyed her family. Vowing revenge on Fat, she changes her life completely. She deliberately breaks up with her lover (Wan Yeung Ming) and dates Kiu Wing Fat's third son Kiu Lik (Gallen Lo) to carry out her plan. However, the one she really loves is Uncle Rain, a sponsor of the orphanage whom she has been communicating with through writing since a young age. Only after she has started her plans for revenge does she discover that Uncle Rain is in fact Kiu Wing Fat's second son Kiu Lap (Deric Wan)! Will Hoi Chiu lose everything for vengeance? How will she choose between revenge and love?

One TVB's top ten most popular TV series in the 90s, Vengeance not only features an interesting plot, but also an attractive cast. Starring the sexy and beautiful Irene Wan and TVB's top actors Deric Wan and Gallen Lo, the series has always been a classic in many fans' minds. Hoi Chiu became Irene Wan's representative role, even becoming her nickname afterwards. The theme song by Irene Wan was also very popular at that time. Vengeance, apart from bringing her fame, also serves as a milestone in Irene Wan's acting and singing career.

孤女海潮，仇海中掙扎求存

在孤兒院長大的海潮(溫碧霞)，每每與助養人喬立(溫兆倫)緣慳一面。當潮發現喬永發(王偉)乃導致其家散人亡的人後，竟不斷被發所迫害。潮為報復，假意與發三子喬歷(羅嘉良)拍拖，從而掌握發的犯罪証據。當潮欲舉報時卻反被牽連，繼而被歷所害，流落越柬邊界，受盡折磨摧殘。立原來是發二子，遠赴千里終尋獲潮，二人並重新生活。然而，潮暗地裡卻正實行復仇計劃……

HOI CHIU (IRENE WAN) grew up in an orphanage. While she was there, she never got the chance to meet up with her benefactor, KIU LAP (WAN SIU LUN). Now that she has grown up, she gets to know the person who ruined her family and made her orphan is called KIU WING FAT (WONG WAI). Her knowing about the truth, nevertheless, brings her to the verge of despair.

In order to take her revenge, she goes out with FAT's third son, KIU LIK (LO KA LEUNG), so as to gather evidences of FAT's criminal activities. Yet when she is about to bring FAT to justice, she is set up by LIK and left stranded on the border of Vietnam and Cambodia. LAP, who happens to be FAT's second son, goes to her rescue. She is touched. While she has started a new life with Lap on one hand, she is putting another vengeance plan secretly on the other....
