The late James Wong (1940-2004) was one of the few all-rounders in Hong Kong's entertainment business: a lyricist, newspaper columnist, composer, movie director, actor, etc. In films like Wild Goose Chase and Stooges in Hong Kong, his image as a flirtatious man perfectly matches his extremely popular books on adult-oriented jokes. In Wild Goose Chase, James Wong is Chung, a philanderer who works for an advertising company. Very popular among his male colleagues, thanks to his profound knowledge in red light districts of almost every big city, Chung is now taking two of his co-workers, Yan (Tommy Wong) and Koo (Lam Lee), to Korea for business trip. The naive Yan falls in love with one of the nightclub girls, while the stingy Koo receives many setbacks in finding prostitutes due to pricing problems... Will the three men end up in a Wild Goose Chase? A hilarious comedy, for adults only, Wild Goose Chase, directed by Simon Yip, also stars the elegant Kathy Chow Hoi Mei and sexy Elsie Chan Yik Si, both haven't appeared on the silver screen for years.

The trio is to go on a business to Korea on the expenses of the company. he first attraction that comes across Yam is a girl called Bird (Name Kyun Hee). He falls all over for her instance he sets eyes on her and manages to spend the night with her. Koo, on the other hand, has no such luck. But it really owes much to his stinginess and craving for "free-rides'. Most of his encounters end up in trouble. Eventually, though a fluke incident, he hooks up with a secretary (C. C. Tsui) from the Korean company they are dealing with and succeeds in enjoying the result of his so called charisma....
