The travelling birds accomplish journeys of several thousand kilometers. They cross the highest mountains, boundless oceans, burning deserts and encounter bad weather. All this is in response to a vital necessity: survival. Their migration is a fight for life. Arriving from every continent, the migrating birds reach the arctic lands. Where it is inhospitable for man, the chicks soon hatch and quickly learn to fly and prepare themselves for their supreme test, their first migration. Soon the summer will be over. The wide open spaces will rapidly freeze and this is the period for the big departure, the autumn migration. The same heavenly paths are followed once again, the promise to return is kept, despite the obstacles. The bird fulfils man's dream.

This is the best ever film I have watched

This is the most amazing movie I have ever seen. In this documentary/movie, the audience fly with birds across the continents and oceans during the birds migratoin seasons. About 30 or more differnt beautiful kind of birds were documented for their migration in very close distance even during their flying journey. By watching this film, I start to greatly appreciate the beauty of different life forms and the incomprehensible mystery of the almighty. And I now become a bird fan. Birds are now more like friends to me. I highly recommend this film without rerservations. |
