This series was deep. A series that can only be produced once in a lifetime. But this series was not just a show. Not just entertainment. Not just for money. Not just for fame. It was a story. Perhaps not even half true, or even 1% true. Just a story. A story that tells us of people who were willing to sacrifice in order to preserve peace, who protected a sacred ideal. Watch it an be inspired.

This is one of my favourite drama! the plot was soooo interesting and captivating! I laughed really hard from some part and cried like hell for others. The one i watched had 47 episode and be warned! I cried from ep 40-47!!! Every episode I cried like crazy because it's sooooooo emotional!! OMG, this is a must buy!

very very nice!! frist time i saw this drama, i liked the 6-brother. but after awhile, the 7-brother came along (he's just tooo cute). so i relized i liked all of the brothers and all the sisters-in-law AND the bid guys (like Yelu Xi and the prime minister's son) because of they're good storylines.. so like i said, everybody in the story has a very good point even the weak emperor has a point. Overall, presonly i'll say this drama is a drama where NOBODY want to miss it!!

This is one of my favorite movie. The yang's family is my favorite characters. Yes I believe that the girl had feelings for the lia general too but she also has feelings for the fifth son too. The girl is a good girl after all and so is the fifth son so as you can see too good character goes hand in hand. The liao general is a bad guy even though he loves the girl it never would have worked out for them it was just a love affair destined for failure. The show has so much action, love, revenge caring it has some of everything that a movie required.

I finished the series in 4 days. I watched it until I passed out and watched it so that I can finish it. I am moved by this movie. Great storyline and all characters played their roles well. The action is unbelievable. Customes are amazing. Some characters you will hate, love, and laugh at. This is the movie that did not have a beggar and some shaolin monks until in the end when one of the son became a monk. This is the series that will make you watch it again! My money is worth it. Thanks YA for the entertainment!

I love this series. The only downside to this is the dubbing in Cantonese. To my opinion it is not done professionally. For example a child voice should be dubbed by a child and not by an adult imitating an adult. I also notice that several characters in this series has the same voice. Kind of odd. I know this is orignially made in Mandarine but a least match the voice to the characters appropriately. Please do not get me wrong. Overall this is an excellent series and it is a keeper.

The actor is Yuan Hong. He will play Yang Kang in the new Legend of Condor Hero 2007. Also, Hu Ge is casted as Kuo Ching and Ariel Lin is Huang Yung.

This is the one drama that makes me watched over & over again. The director is smart to pick all the wonderful actors & actresses to be cast in here. Not only they acted well together, heard they are like a big family even the drama ends. There's revenge, forgive, love, kinship & betrayal in here. The first part of the show is more light-hearted as for the 2nd part is the serious one where U can find yourself shedding tears & thinking how on earth can such misfortunate happenings befell onto the Yang Warriors. Anyway, U must watch it to finally understand what I meant. The Liao General is a real hottie in here*^^*
