Thirty Thousand Miles in Search of My Son OST (SBS TV Drama)

Romantic comedy Thirty Thousand Miles in Search of My Son finds its way to the audience by offering hours of chuckles and heart-warming sentiments. This amusing tearjerker revolves around the humorous episodes of a young mother (So Yu Jin, The Bean Chaff of My Life) who lost her son five years ago and a rash but kind-hearted rich man (Lee Hoon, My Man's Woman) who raised the boy in her absence. Thirty Thousand Miles in Search of My Son OST recruits the current teen pop sensation Girls' Generation for a perky, bubbly rendition of Touch The Sky (Track 1), the main and the ending title track of the drama. Written by Park Sung Il and Lue, Touch The Sky draws out the blithe optimism of youth through the group's own characteristic innocence and charm. Kyun Woo, an up-and-coming ballad singer, offers his spellbinding vocals to the drama's main theme, Arshiwursuh Geuriwursuh ("Missing and Longing") (Track 3). One of the best highlights in the album is Woorideurhi Saarang ("Our Love") (Track 8), in which Super Junior revives one of the late Yoo Jae Ha's signature songs, adding more pluckiness and dynamics to the original tune. Other noteworthy tracks include newcomer Tae Yang's emotive ballad Manajimalaayo ("Don't See Him/Her") (Track 5) and UCC star ON's revitalizing upbeat number Whechurba ("Shout") (Track 2).
