This album is not perfect. What I like is Utada's unique vocals. She is hip and she can handle any style of songs. As for the music, it's too much mixing for my taste. I'm not too crazy about the chorus in a lot of the tracks either. I like Automatic Part ll if the chorus is reduced. I suppose I don't really like the tracks, Dirty Desire and Poppin' for the same reason that I don't care about the chorus. My favorite tracks are: Me Muero, Merry Christmas Mr Lawrence and This One (Crying Like A Child). Taking My Money Back, all three versions of Come Back to me and Apple & Cinnamon are 4 stars tracks. The last track is good for a party. I wish Utada success in her US record sales and continuing success in her career! |
