Thunder Cops VCD

It's ghost and girl action as director Jeff Lau brings non-stop hilarity and hijinks to the screen in Thunder Cops! Sandra Ng, Ann Pak On Nei, Suki Kwan and Sharla Cheung are a group of female cops (mostly the same characters from Jeff Lau's action-comedy Operation Pink Squad) who are assigned to investigate a criminal operation run by Sing Fui On. But their stakeout location is infested with ghosts! A Buddhist priest (action director Yuen Cheung Yan) has been charged with taking care of the ghosts, but he neglects to capture one. The remaining female ghost decides to take out her ire on the cops and criminals in grand ghost nuisance style, a plan that becomes even more laugh-packed when Sandra Ng's fiance Billy Lau arrives to check on his bride-to-be. It's spectral hijinks and action-packed silliness in the daffy and delightful Thunder Cops!

One of the more-bizarrely titled Hong Kong films out there, Thunder Cops is better known as Operation Pink Squad II, and is a direct sequel to the Jeff Lau film Operation Pink Squad. However, Operation Pink Squad II substitutes horror-comedy situations for the brawling babes formula - and proves no less entertaining than the original film! Jeff Lau also directed a film called Thunder Cops II starring Sandra Ng, Sing Fui On, and Stephen Chow. Oddly, it has nothing to do with this film.
