Matsu Takako steps in the limelight once more with her anticipated 9th album, which arrives over two years after Cherish You. Takako invited David Campbell, who also collaborated with her on her Harvest Song album, for arrangements. She personally penned 4 of the 10 tracks on Time for Music and also performs 5 English cover songs. In addition, fans can look forward to a cover of the 1967 hit Nobara Saku Michi, penned, composed, and originally sung by Takako's father Matsumoto Koushiro. Kitto Tsutaete, the side track off Takako's latest single Kimi to Nara, is also included in the album.

約2年半ぶり、9枚目のオリジナル・アルバムは、アレンジにDavid Campbell (2003年、アルバム『Harvest song』にも2曲参加)を迎え、LAで昨年の6月から1年をかけナチュラルでオーガニックな大人のアルバムを制作。全10曲中4曲は本人書下ろしの新曲、5曲を英語詞カバー、残る1曲は父である松本幸四郎 (当時市川染五郎)の作詞・曲で1967年リリースした、大ヒット曲「野バラ咲く路」を収録。収録曲「きっと伝えて」は、NHK教育テレビアニメ『獣の奏者 エリン』エンディングテーマに決定。
