Shimizu Shota is one of those artist I've started following not too long ago. He has an amazing smooth R&B voice. I loved the album Umbrella and this latest single just keeps me craving for more of his work.

This is a very nice, slow, touching single. The released single 'Kimi ga suki' is piano R&B song. The piano gives a simple melody and a thumping beat lures the song along into a lovely chorus. All of Shota's songs tend to have a church quality to it, and I love how he keeps his style all throughout his music.

'Family' is nice song that I can imagine being played at family events or charities. It's a very uplifting song and the feature artists on the track sing very well. You'll want to clap along to this song. ^^

I really enjoyed this single and really recommend this relatively new japanese artist. His music and messages are really needed in the world's current state.
