EXCELLENT!! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
This has got to be one of the most memorable japanese films i've watched in a long time. The acting is wonderful and the movie is just fantastic. The movie starts off with funny moments which made me think that it was going to be a light hearted comedy. Then as it slowly progressed with the viewers being shown the sad, lonely life of these transparents, the movie became heart-wrenching. Those scenes which were meant to be sad were superbly pulled off. There were no dry eyes amongst the people who watched the movie with me. And this included straight , macho guys! Excellent movie.

Good Film Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
This is a very good film with a plot similar to the Truman Show, another reviewer noted the actor crying at the end. You will also be crying!

Fairly Cheesy Customer Review Rated Bad 5 - 5 out of 10
I'm a huge Kyoka Suzuki fan, so I was looking forward to seeing this movie. It probably sounded good in concept, but turned out to be fairly cheesy. The whole idea that Japan would spend so much money, time, and effort to keep one particular "transparent" from knowing he is broadcasting his thoughts stretches credibility. And Ms. Suzuki has given some incredible performances, but here she seemed to be "phoning in" her role. (Sorry, Kyoka...you know I love you.)

The film attempts to pull strongly on the heart-strings, but plays for sympathy were fairly heavy-handed. And call me jealous, but the romance between the two main characters just didn't seem to spark. Not a bad movie, but I would call it a "B-movie" for sure.

The big star of the film is crying; I wanna hug hi Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
Cool film!! When I got the dvd it didn't work in my room dvd player because of the code 3 setting; but very suprisingly it worked on my computer dvd player. This is a great movie, the beginnng was a bit slow but later on it was very funny and sad at the ending. I won't tell you all of the story but here's some of it. In japan there are what the government calls "transparent's" Their people who when they say something in their mind other ordinary people around or near that "transparent" can hear those thoughts. Strangly that person who is a transparent (Ando Masanobu )doesn't know that he is one(and the govt.doesn't want him to know). The government watches him all his life and everywhere he goes to "Protect him". If you like funny drama definatly buy this film.I haven't seen much of Ando Masanobu's films; but to see a guy who played in BATTLE ROYALE actually cry toward the end....WOW.
