　　Shirley （趙雅芝）的丈夫早年因病離世，她含辛茹苦將兩女芳（郭靄明）及CoCo（蔡安蕎）撫養成人。Shirley 有男友（劉松仁）任消防員，兩人已是情人知已的關係，卻礙於女兒與社會眼光，遲遲未敢再婚。二女兒CoCo決定跟醫生男友毅結婚。毅對CoCo 家人冷漠，CoCo 漸感毅的自私與高傲，終宣佈取消婚約。大女兒芳的丈夫聰（謝君豪）為人缺乏情趣，婚後生活平淡，直到遇上攝影師Jason（張瑞哲），芳才體驗到戀愛的甜蜜滋味。婚外情最終給聰發現，聰決定提出離婚，芳甚感哀傷。三母女在人生道上所遭逢之家庭、情感及工作問題，最終是否能找到真愛呢？

Rare glimpse into a subtle side of HK TV Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
I am surprised that Hong Kong Television would make a 20 part series which has no violence, revenge, backstabbing or melodramatic love scenes... for those people (like my mother who found it boring) looking for excitement and biting sarcastic dialogues, this is not for you. It is a beautiful and poignant study of love, companionship and marriage in contemporary Hong Kong. Every scene is seamless, every gesture is exquisitely thoughtful and the unspoken is often heartfelt.

All the other actors without exception gave memorable performances, but without Angie Chiu exuding grace and maturity (and beautiful dresses ) and Amy Kwok showing both great strength and vulnerability the series would have flopped. I didn't think they had it in them to give such understated and powerful performances, in my mind the finest in their long careers. I wish HK TV would make more thought provoking series like this one.

good for Hong Kong ladies Customer Review Rated Bad 7 - 7 out of 10
A very good story exposing the trals and tribulations of an elder woman (around age 40, to me) in Hong Kong with a combination and East and West philosophies and cultures.

It may appeal more to the female audience

I bought this VCD set because of Angie but, I think the high rating is due to the whole cast. The acting is superb! I pretty much like all the characters in the show; particularly Eliza Chan, her dialogues are often extremely humourous.
