HELLO (Japan Version)
November 8, 2005 Great buyHELLO is one of my favorite tracks from 666. It's both emotional and awesome to listen to. On this single, there is an outtake called THE OTHER SIDE; just as great as HELLO, if not a bit better. If you're a HYDE fan and you liked 666, I suggest you buy this single. COUNTDOWN (Japan Version)
November 8, 2005 Good songCOUNTDOWN, both original and US version, is a really great track. The original version combines both English and Japanese, while the US is all in english.
Also, there's EVERGREEN from ROENTGEN, but this is a very, very different version. It's rock. Hence the (DIST.) tagline.Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -

October 29, 2005 Anticipating itSeriously, I can't wait for this cd; I'm hoping that she'll shave off a few songs from her singles to make room for more tracks, since new Ayu is better than old. I hope she continues to make cds! Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -
666 (Normal Edition)(Japan Version)
October 24, 2005 Wasn't expecting this!ROENTGEN was a beautiful, calming and multi-textured album that reminded me of the Winter season, with just how it sounded. 666, on the other hand, is completely different.
I'd say about 70 percent of the album is in English. His english is good, but it's not overwhelming; I think with some more practice he'd have it down perfectly (I haven't listened to L'Arc En Ciel so I don't know what their english albums sound like. I'm just basing it on speculation of listening to this.) There are 10 tracks, and almost all of them (if not all) rock out.
For HYDE fans, this is probably a must-buy. People expecting ROENTGEN are gonna be severly surprised; I was expecting ROENTGEN to be like this, but in turn got a pleasant surprise. It's a really cool release.

Kimi no tameni dekirukoto (Japan Ver.)
October 24, 2005 BeautifulThough it didn't grab me at first, on a closer inspection of this single, one will find that it's simply fantastic Gackt. Like a few of his singles, this one comes with three tracks; Kimi no tameni dekirukoto, Cube, and the instrumental.
The title track is great, though not extremely spectacular. In terms of first impressions, Secret Garden impressed me more, but this song take a little time to grow on you (specifically 2-3 listens at least.) I think Cube is the better track between the two, but Kimi no tameni dekirukoto is still great.
Cube is another unreleased Gackt track from Rebirth. Pretty awesome, too. I'd say that collectors will buy this single right now, if they have Rebirth, just to own Cube. (Rebirth is out of print, as far as I know, and I don't own it, so I bought this single instead.)
I recommend this single, just like Secret Garden, based upon the listening merits of the cd. I doubt many will be disappointed with it.Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -
Secret Garden (Japan Version)
October 24, 2005 RecommendedSecret Garden is a single that comes in a long paper box and features 3 songs; Secret Garden, NINE SPIRAL, and the instrumental version of the title track. I ordered this several weeks ago and just got it in today, and I was wowed at the way it sounded.
First off, Secret Garden is a great song. It sorta reminds me of wa se re na i ka ra, mainly with a little bit of the chorus (though this came out long before the single of that did.) Even at first listen I was floored.
The second song, NINE SPIRAL, is a nice, moody rock song that doesn't have much direction, mainly because there's so many layers of sounds and guitars in it. His voice is great; the lyrics themselves are crazy as hell, too. Though this song wasn't on Rebirth, for those collecting everything Gackt, this will be the reason to buy the track.
Overall, I'd say that Secret Garden is a really good buy. It's moody, it's nice, and it comes in a large paper box.. The latter is a surprise itself.Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -

October 24, 2005 Looking forward to itI gave it a 10 just to have a rating, because I don't think at this point it has a preview yet (could be wrong, though), but I'm really looking forward to it. Ayumi's releasing this single the 30th of Nov., along with her new album on January 1st. I can't wait. Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -
FINAL FANTASY X-2 INTERNATIONAL + LAST MISSION Original Soundtrack (Japan Version)
FINAL FANTASY X-2 INTERNATIONAL + LAST MISSION Original Soundtrack (Japan Version)
(3)Our Price: US$24.49October 18, 2005 Great addition to the X-2 libraryI bought this to get the 3 tracks I'd been looking for everywhere; Jade's real Emotion and the two version of 1000 Words. Overall, I like her voice better than Kumi Koda's.
Some people won't be utterly blown away by it, but it has some good X-2 musical moments on here. The majority of this cd is music from the extra levels in International + Last Mission. That's great, even though I haven't played that version of the game.
For those who wanted Jade's versions, this is the cd to get.Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -

(4)Our Price: US$42.99Usually ships within 7 daysOctober 18, 2005 InterestingX-2's music is completely different than anything featured in the Final Fantasy universe (well, I haven't heard any of XI's, so I don't know about that one). However, this isn't necessarily a bad thing. It's a bit j-popish, a bit dance-ish, but can really deliver when it has to, and that's why I admire it so much. Kumi Koda also has some great vocals; I was surprised at real Emotion. Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -

(2)Our Price: US$28.99Usually ships within 7 daysOctober 18, 2005 NiceI got the soundtrack that came with the game, and even bought the one released by Konami to see if there was any difference.
Not really, I soon saw. The only thing really different is the one extra track by Interlace, plus a booklet with lyrics. I think Mary Elizabeth Mcglynn's voice is wonderful, though. Probably the whole reason to buy the soundtrack is to hear her sing. (She's credited as Melissa Williamson in SH3, but that's only an alias)Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -
Xenogears Original Soundtrack (Japan Version)
October 18, 2005 ClassicIf you're going to buy only one game music cd, make sure it's Xenogears. Seriously, this set is REALLY special. I remember when it went out of print and I was just getting into the game; after buying it, one part of my must-haves has been complete, and I am happy about that. Did you find this review helpful? October 18, 2005 Pinnacle of Xenosaga music thus so farThe first time I heard it all the way through, I was surprised at how detailed the soundtrack actually was; booming orchestrations, beautiful chants, and overall wonderful compositions, all on two discs. This OST really is a gem in the game music industry; it's so different from other soundtracks out there, and it definately better than Yasunori's Xenosaga I. Did you find this review helpful? October 15, 2005 ROENGEN.english on firstI'd probably say the Japanese version of ROENTGEN is the best copy, but having this still really makes me happy. I just received it in mail today and listened to it and was surprised. His english isn't that great (sometimes hard to understand), but that doesn't matter, really, when you hear the music and read the lyrics. This man is TALENTED as all hell; seriously. The music's wonderful, the lyrics are both emotional, and his voice is very, very nice.
Overall, I'd say this version deserves an 8; that might be low by some people's standards, but I think it's a good grade; maybe an 8.7 would be more precise for the grade. 4 stars is quite bad for how I feel for it; it deserves several other slivers of a star, actually.Did you find this review helpful? MOON (Japan Version)
September 29, 2005 UnderratedI've seen alot of reviews on other sites stating how much they hated this album.
I've listened to it 4 times in 2 days. The only problem I have with it is that the cover is a little off with the sound of the album. Lol. Noah and Lu:na, however, fit with it.
The album is great; I only have one complaint on one song,a nd that's it; Soleil. Bizarre. It sorta weirds me out, but it's not a bad song at all.
I love Gackt now. He's converted me to a fan. I never thought a male J-rocker could do that, since I'm so used to Ayumi and Utada.

DIABOLOS (Japan Version)

September 29, 2005 Love at first listenI preordered this cd, along with MOON, after hearing some samples of MOON.
I love both of these albums; DIABOLOS is so different than what I'm accustomed to listening to. Gackt's hot; so hot, he's on fire, actually, and his vocals tingle my ears.Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -
HEAVEN (Japan Version)
September 23, 2005 GoodHEAVEN, the song itself, is a good song but is not the best track on the cd. In fact, the piano version surpasses it by far.
HEAVEN is a ballad by Ayumi Hamasaki; it's very simplified at the beginning, but suddenly bursts into something beautiful a little later in the track. Will, on the other hand, is a great track, and it's tune is one of my favorites. Then, we have alterna (orchestra version), which, though not as good as it's original version, is still very interesting to listen to, and provides the very sweeping feeling of this cd.
HEAVEN's piano version is wonderful; it's very moving and elegant. The last two tracks are just instrumental tracks which is basically featured on almost every single in Japan.
Overall, it's a great cd, and something different from STEP you/is this LOVE? and fairyland. I hope she continues to improve over the years. I just wish HEAVEN, the song itself, had been longer instead of feeling like it ended suddenly.Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -
STEP you / is this LOVE? (Japan Version)
September 20, 2005 These songs rockI first heard STEP you on the fairyland single; I liked the way it sounded.
Hearing it on here, I like it even more; it's so.. full of energy. I've seen the CM and thought it was a cool CM.
is this LOVE? is equally good. I can't wait for the next single, or if she plans to do an album; whatever she plans to do, I'm buying it; Ayu rocks!Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -
fairyland (Japan Version)
September 2, 2005 FairylandFairyland is my first single by Ayumi Hamasaki, and I personally think it was a wonderful buy. Fairyland is a fun, emotional track (with a chorus that has a touch of ANGEL's SONG from Memorial address in it). Then, there is alterna, my favorite track on the whole cd, mainly because of the orchestral-like synths in it. There are two remixes; STEP you, and fairyland which are both fun, and then there are the Instrumental versions of fairyland and alterna. Overall, I'd say I'm very happy with it. I plan to buy both STEP you/is this LOVE and HEAVEN once HEAVEN is released. Go Ayu Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -
Memorial address (Overseas Version)
June 21, 2005 A mini masterpieceMemorial Address is a great album- I just wish it had been longer. When it ended, I was like "oh no...", but as is, it's genre-splicing good fun. I'd recommend it to any Ayumi fan that doesn't own this cd. Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -
June 21, 2005 Very good
This is the first Ayumi album I have listened to- I bought this, Rainbow, and Memorial Address all at the same time, and while it's not my ultimate favorite out of those 3, it's still a really fun, danceable, wonderful cd. It has what the other 2 don't have, though I can't put my finger on it. Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This)
