One man must put his life on the line to stop a speeding subway. A fearsome race begins at 200 km per hour for two hours of white-knuckle Korean action thriller "Tube" written and directed by Baek Woon-hak in 2003.
Jang Do-jun (Kim Suk-hoon), a disgraced former agent, chooses to serve on the subway police squad after a police operation that cost him the love of his life and his trust towards his corrupt supervisor. On the other hand, Kang Ki-taek (Park Sang-min), an ex-government agent out of revenge on his former supervisors, kills the mayor of Seoul and hijacks a subway train full of innocent passengers. An all-out war is inevitable between the subway terrorist holding a city hostage and the detective risking his life to save others in the face of extreme danger in this breath-taking non-stop actioner which cost 7.4 billion won to keep you riveted on your seat.

Great movie!!

Just finished watching it and to my surprise, this movie is really amazing. Have seen a lot of action movie but the thrill of TUBE is something that you will rememeber!! Bae Do Na acted well in this tough action flick. You should not miss this one. |

Wonderful
| Bad acting? Nope! Bad Plot? Don't think so. This isn't a normal... piece of crap.... that I usually see around..... this is an excellent movie. I loved it. I cried. I laughed. I just simply enjoyed this movie. |

Mindless Action Flick

Unfortunately Korean cinema (in my opinion) has yet to release a really good action flick... An exception would be Musa if you want to put it in the action category. The premise of the movie looked interesting... I thought it may be a Korean "Speed" The movie is full of cliche characters and action sequences.... drawn out gun battles with cops that can't shoot straight against bad guys who can. A thin plot with few redeeming qualities other than some nice FX. Get this only if mindless action movies turn your crank. |
