Following the successful My Lovely Sam-Soon formula, Two Outs, Bottom of the 9th Inning revolves around an "old maid" protagonist. Soo Ae, best known for her whispery, wholesome roles in Love Letter and Emperor of the Sea, plays a vivacious spunky young woman flaunting a casual, unpretentious look and a very foul mouth - a remarkable transformation from her previous roles. Lee Jung Jin (Love Story in Harvard), making his comeback after 26 months of military service, plays her counterpart. As the title suggests, the drama makes plenty of baseball references. Each of its sixteen episodes opens with a catchy phrase relating the facts of life through the game of baseball. Two Outs, Bottom of the 9th Inning offers a beautiful and unique look into life as seen from the angle of one of Korea's favorite pastimes - baseball.
For 30-year-old aspiring writer Nan Hee (Soo Ae), everyday is a series of small battles against a society defined by so-called norms. Her life makes an unexpected turn when she bumps into her grade school classmate Hyung Tae (Lee Jung Jin), a handsome Casanova with a big chip on his shoulder, who ends up moving in with her. In this classic tale of gender tug-of-war, 9 End 2 Outs reaches its last inning as both Nan Hee and Hyung Tae find themselves facing the all-time dilemma: should they or shouldn't they?

| A man and a woman cannot possibly be just good friends. So this very boring drama seems to say. The way the two main leads behaved towards each other did indeed make it impossible. The female lead overacts in most occasions, while the male lead only has a few same expressions on his face throughout. The young pitcher boyfriend on the other hand is quite funny with his big baby acts. Waste of time to drag through all 16 epistles but if you must, then stay away from English subtitles. .it will only confuse you further. |

| This drama chronicles the life of a girl and her different romances at different times of her life. From the romantic first crush, to the intense love relationship with cute,sweet and very romantic younger man to the discovery of the love of her life. Very sweet, touching, practical and romantic. No evil conniving here!! The drama is like a gentle,fresh flowing river. Good watch for romantics. It also has some sweet romantic parts that will please the die hard romance lovers. |
