Uptown proceeds to a New Era. Leader Jung Yeon Joon is the only remaining original member of the band, who now call themselves UPT. Jung is joined by new members Maniac, Chan, and Swings, continuing the brand of hip-hop gangsta funk originated by the group during the '90s. Their sixth album features 15 tracks including the principal song "Black Knight" (Track 4), which offers UPT's modern interpretation of the oft-told "black knight saves damsel in distress" tale. The band puts forth the message that there is always hope, regardless how big problems may be, hoping to comfort listeners during these times of economic insecurity. UPT has invited guest stars including L.E.O., Im Hyo Jin, and Someday's Joo Young to help the band turn a new leaf in their music career.

한층 업그레이드 된 실력과 음악으로 다가온다

1990년대 힙합장르를 이끌어가면서 한 시대의 트랜드를 주도했던 그룹 업타운(Uptown)의 6집은 업타운(Uptown)이 아닌 UPT란 이름으로 새롭게 태어났다.
기존의 멤버가 리더인 정연준을 제외하고 전원 교체가 되면서 새롭게 다시 시작한다는 의미와 업타운(Uptown)의 연장선으로 UPT 란 이름으로 팀 명을 바꾸며 다시 태어나게 된 것이다.

새 멤버인 매니악(maniac), 첸(Chan), 스윙즈(Swings)가 합류하여 기존의 자유분방하면서 분위기 있는 Rap스타일에 높은 퀼리티와 세련되고 호소력 짙은 분위기가 한층 더해졌다.

타이틀곡 “흑기사”는 UPT의 명성대로 미국 서부 힙합 G-Funk 장르로 신나고 흥겨운 리듬의 곡으로 흑기사 하면 떠오르는 도움을 주는 사람을 나타내는 의미로 요즘처럼 힘든 경제난과 어지러운 사회 속에서 사람들이 희망을 잃고 닥치는 시련들을 버틸 수 없을 것 같을 때 모든 이들을 대신해 흑기사를 자청하는 UPT에게 도움을 요청해 어려움을 해결하고 희망을 찾고자 하는 마음을 표현한 곡이다.
