After his intense performance as a serial killer in 2008's Maou, Arashi idol Ohno Satoshi goes for a lighter role in his delightful 2009 TV Asahi drama Uta no Onisan. Ohno stars as Yano Kenta, a failed musician who's lost his band and his girlfriend, and has no idea what to do with his life. He ends up the unlikely host of a children's show, complete with wacky costume and song and dance routines! Ohno also sings solo for Uta no Onisan's theme song Kumorinochi, Kaisei. This colorful comedy co-stars Chisa from Girl Next Door, Totsugi Shigeyuki (33pun Tantei), Katase Nana (Bloody Monday), and Kanjani8's Maruyama Ryuhei in a characteristically goofy supporting performance.

所属バンドが解散、恋人にもフラれた健太は、ひょんなことから子供番組の"歌のおにいさん"になってしまう。普通の子供番組とはちょっと違う『みんなでうたお！パピプペポン』では、なんとベテランの"歌のおにいさん"が絶対権力を持ち、逆らうものは容赦なくイジめられていた。そんな不条理な世界に放り込まれてしまった健太は、ゆがんだ体質に風穴を開けようと奮闘する…。
