Following her comeback singles with Speed, Imai Eriko also pleases fans with her solo album. Utagoe features 13 tracks including the Kanna (Track 1) composed by Eriko's ex-husband 175R vocalist Shogo as well as songs produced by ex-Echoes leader Tsuji Jinsei. The album is rounded off with Yurikago (Track 4) which is dedicated to Imai's hearing-impaired son Raimu. The song's music video features sign language, creating visible music for the heart.

beautiful album!
| There is a very different side of Eriko (or elly, whichever you prefer) on this album. It's filled with beautiful ballads and upbeat songs throughout the whole thing, and honestly I prefer this style to her previous solo work. The music is very soothing and her voice is BEAUTIFUL. I recommend this if you like Eriko already or you want some nice ballads or upbeat music. |
