BoA is conquering the music business! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
BoA’s 2003 Japanese album, “Valenti” is great for anyone who has heard her voice and songs before, or is just a first-time fan. It’s so exciting for me to say that I like every song on this album. I find it rare for myself to like every song on one CD, and this one did it! One reason why I like this album so much is partly because I’ve heard all of these in Korean before, but also because they are very catchy and unique and feature BoA’s powerful voice. I sometimes wonder, how does a powerful voice come from such a tiny body? Anyway, as I said, the music is great and a joy to listen to.
Track 1-“Valenti”- is the “star song” of this album because it catches the attention of the listener right away and is ranked high on my list as a favorite. Also, track 5-“Kiseki” and track 13-“No. 1” share the same style as “Valenti,” catching the listener and forcing their attention on these songs. But, the slower-beat songs won’t let them get all the attention; track 2-“Jewel Song,” track 3-“B.I.O.” (Beat it out), track 6-“Winding Road,” track 8-“Moon and Sunshine,” track 9-“Discovery,” and track 12-“Feel the Same” hold the attention of the listener by leaving an impression that will get these songs stuck in their mind. Track 4-“Sekai no Katasumi de," track 7-“Searching for Truth,” track 10-“Flower,” and track 11-“Beside You” are the songs that have a beat that is not too fast or not too slow and have a clear message. They are very likeable because of this. My own personal favorites off of this album are “Valenti,” “Winding Road,” and “No. 1.” These three songs make it for me because of their catchy beats and tunes.
Overall, this album is a 10 on a 1-10 scale, 10 being the best. I enjoy having it in my collection, and I listen to it frequently. Even though I can’t speak or sing Japanese, I try to hear what BoA is saying, and I copy whatever sounds she makes. But in the meantime, BoA is getting bigger than ever with her new and anticipating 2006 album release, “Outgrow.” Who knows when she is going to stop! Probably never!

Who cares if you don't understand it? Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
I'm English. I'm niether Japanese or Korean, but I am learning. With that point out the way, I want to continue saying how great an album this is!! You like your cheesy pop? Want it cheesier than British pop? Always go for Jpop. And BoA is your best place to start. The tunes are ctachy, the beat is dancy and you'll find yourself singing the japanese before you relaize it. Does it matter if you undertsand it to enjoy it? I was introduced to BoA by a friend and this has led me to get a set of the cds of my own. And it been well worth the buy. From the cathcy song of Valenti, No.1 and Searching For Truths to Jewel Song and Discory ballads, plus the melodic tunes of Kiseki and others, you'll find yourself putting this CD on more than you realize.

Another great one from BoA Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
I've had this CD for a couple of months now and I can still say that I never get tired of it. Its one of those rare CDs that I can listen to in its entirety. All the songs are good. Also I must recommend "BoA First Live Tour 2003 Valenti" concert DVD, which contains many of the songs on this album sung and performed live.

I just dont get it! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
I like Boa... In fact, I love her music! I wish I could say that about her, but I don't anything about her to say that so... But anyway! My favorite songs from her are: Valenti, No. 1 and Amazing Kiss. I wish I knew of this site beforehand! But oh well, next time!

Oh, and I wanted to let EVERYONE know this trick. Germany also has the fascist CD-copy control on their CD's which many times you can't play the CD on the computer at all. But there is a way to override this. You take a piece of tape, one of the coated kind, and on the edge of the CD you should be able to identify a rim going around it. And you just simply cover a section of that rim that surrounds the inner CD and you'll be able to play it on your computer and copy the songs to your harddrive to make either a mixed disc or put em on a minidisc. Works everytime! You may not able to see the rim, which I had that happen, but you can still put tape there on the edge and it works just the same. It's a nice lil trick to know! ^o^

OK, well that is all. But I do love Boa's musik except for her more R&B crap, I really hate it. If I didn't hear her songs valenti and stuff first or had my Japanese penpals keep telling me, Boa Boa, I would've really taken such a liking to her. OK, tchuss and God bless yall! ^_^

BOA great singer Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
I am not korean or japanese, but still like her music.
If you can receive the International Channel on cable in the US they air a korean video show called "revolution". It arirs every thursday at 10pm ET and replays on saturday at 3am ET. I have seen three of her videos. 1) Valenti 2) No. 1 3) Jewel Song
So, far this is the answer for those in US that do not own a multi region dvd player, but for those that do go and buy her live performance Japanese version - region 2 dvd to accompany this one which is dvd region 3. please enjoy all of BOA songs.
