Unusually good comedy in every way. Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
LOOKING FOR a funny opera with excellent acting, singing, interesting plots and dialogs, 3 pretty leading ladies, lots of interesting looking men ? try this one. I particularly enjoyed the wedding night scene where Ms. Yu sweet talk two guys to ...........

Quality ensemble film and not boring. Most actor in this film got a fairly equal part to play and a chance to shine. This film is unusual because it showcased quite a few quality side kick actors and therefore made it even more enjoyable to watch !

Pan On is a female disguised as a male in order to seek her dream of earning fame in the court. At last, her dream came true but her nightmare also became reality. If the king knows her true identity, she actually commits a crime of lying to the king and will face capital punishment. To worsen the problem, she had to marry two women. Deep down, she was an unhappy soul for unable to see her mom and revealed her true self to her fiance and brother. The interesting details were surrounding these controversies. Ms. Yu was fabulously acting this character. Not only the appearance was appropriate - a gentle, handsome disguised young man, occasionally exposed the feminine side, she also expressed the character's anxious feeling.

In fact, the whole cast of this movie were so strong and marvelous. There was a scene that the male actors had to pretend to be female sword dancers. The hilarious effect was like watching soundless comedy movie. I really salute to the serious expression on their face.

Of course, a credit should also goes to director and other crew members. The lesson is one should face one's problem but don't give up one's dream. I personally found this movie very entertaining and enjoyed this movie very much.
