Tri-Ace's classic RPG adventure gets a graphical makeover for the PSP in VALKYRIE PROFILE -LENNETH-, an ambitious new title that delivers all the thrills of the original game, but with brand new alterations made especially for the portable format! Published by Enix, this PSP update takes place during Ragnarok, the fabled "Twilight of the Gods" foretold in Norse mythology. Here, the climactic battle between the gods Aesir and Vanir will finally take place, as the player takes on the role of Valkyrie Lenneth, a female warrior responsible for ferrying dead souls from this plane of existence to the next. As part of her charge, Valkyrie Lenneth enters the lives of heroes around the time of their deaths; taking possession of their souls and making them fight alongside her in battle!
But before she can send these heroes to the next world for the impending showdown in heaven, she has to properly train and improve them as soldiers. To facilitate this overriding mission, the game is divided into seven chapters with each chapter subdivided into twenty-four periods. New chapters necessitate the introduction of brand new characters, new quests, and new objectives. However, gamers are given access to the entire world map at any time, which allows them the freedom to take on each chapter's mission in whatever order they so choose. Boasting new full motion-video story cinematics, a tweaked aspect ratio for the widescreen format, an entertaining battle system, and an epic, orchestral soundtrack, VALKYRIE PROFILE -LENNETH- is a greatly improved remake of an already classic role playing game - one that RPG fans definitely won't want to miss!

Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth brings the classic PlayStation game console title, originally released in 2000, to the PSP system with completely new CG cut scenes. Lenneth introduce new fans to the spectacular combo attacks, unique side-scrolling environment, and gripping storyline that first captivated players six years ago. The game also features new scenes to help bridge the storyline with part 2 on PS2.

Arr. I wrote my review but it was not saved. Anway, this game worth my time to write here one more time! It is THAT good! As you all know, this is a re-make from PS1 version. The Ps1 version is a rare find, you can hardly find it nowadays. So, everyone is very pleased SE bought this Tri-ace game and reintroduced it on PSP. I got this last week and I just CAN't STOP playing! My PSP was sitting in for house for a yr. But after I got this game I play my PSP every day till 3am! FYI. You definately want to check the guild online ..so you will be on the right track to get the A-Ending of this game. There are A,B,and C ending in this game! If you play hard mode, you can get extra characters to use as well! In general, it has VERY HIGH replay value! " Come to me, my Dark Warriors!" this quote is in my dream now. LOL |
