Golden Tears (Japan Version)
July 28, 2007 Golden music.I love the poppy feel to this album. i Love Monster and Addicted. Believe is very nice also. this would probably be my second favorite album from her. it's truly not like any of her other albums. Lot's of energy on this album. not as relaxed as previous efforts. July 28, 2007 My Favorite Bonnie album
I'm so glad i bought this album when i did! It's such a shame that it's out of print. Well, good luck locating it now! But i think it would be worth it. there's only really 2 songs on it that i don't listen to and that would be Passive-Progressivism and Chronic Vertigo. but aside from that i live Rope Dancer and April Shower and Need you and Present.and..and i could keep going. but you get the idea. it' certainly better than the album she released next...Even so. EXODUS (Japan Version)
January 11, 2007 This is art.Say what you say. This is one of my favorite albums of all time.
Kremlin Dusk/ doesn't follow any kind of typical song format. features real drums. and gets bombastically explosive at the end. references edgar allen poe. and seems to be a song about her fears of crossing over.
Exodus 04/ also a song about her trying to crossover excellent production by Timbaland
let me give you my love/ also produced by timbaland is a good snythized dance song
tippy toe/ about her having an affair with a married man, interesting
easy breezy/ a fun r&b pop song. i love the "i'm japansey" line
hotel lobby/ another song that just kind of grows and builds energy as it goes.
overall this album is very ecletic and sounds very electronical. i like it.Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -
(miss)understood (Normal Edition)(Japan Version)
January 11, 2007 i understand!!!!As i go over the songs on this album in my mind, i search for a misstep. a place on this album where she just horribly went wrong. and sadly, i can think of one. BUT THAT'S IT!
i love bold and delicious. the gospel choir, the thumping bass. easily my favorite song on here!
is this feeling love? is also very powerful and moving, love the guitar.
heaven. maybe one of her greatest ballads of all time.
will. the b-side to heaven is also awesome.
alterna. the guitars in the song are crazy good. it's so powerful.
i love crimminal. it's a great ballad.
heck, even the interludes rock. such a great album.Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -
Winter Love (Japan Version)
October 30, 2006 Good winter balladIf you are growing tired of winter ballads....hopefully Winter Love will restore your faith. It took some time...i'll admit. I wasn't impressed initally..but it is a really pretty ballad with a strong chorus. The music video is boring. but she looks very pretty in it. Candle lights is a gret mid-tempo r&b flavored song and a super strong b-side.
For all the lucky ones who will be getting the first press...it includes a cover of George Michael's Last Chirstmas. Her English is excellent and her vocals are great but the production is sadly lacking.
overall...a great rebound for those of you who didn't like key of heart.Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -
pray (Normal Edition)(Japan Version)
July 13, 2006 prayers answered!Pray is an excellent single. even better than her previous effort. First of all, pray is a lot more mellow, (comparatively ,folks, comparatively). the crazy gutiars are gone..but she's still got a good hook or two up her sleave. the new version of lost my pieces is very serious. it sheds a whole new light on the song. and it's a good thing. About U, grows on you..but it's not as catchy as either song. but still...worth a purchase! Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -

Tear's diamond - Kamisama no Itazura- (Japan Version)
(3)Our Price: US$13.49Usually ships within 7 daysJune 13, 2006 nice note to leave at!well this is a great single. Color of tears has a really cool sound..almost feels winterish..and it breaks out into a gospel choir like bridge at one point. really nifty. and while Dear My Friends..is not a very original title...it's got great harmonies..which suprised me...and it's a nice little piano number that picks up at the end. great song girls. too bad this is the end. sayonara! et bonne chance! Planetarium (Japan Version)
June 5, 2006 very good.for some reason i came across people who did not really like the b-side to this single. i think it is one of her better b-sides. drop. is one of my favorite songs by her.Its got a nice the little guitar rift and it isn't all that complicated in arrangement but it's catchy and not over whelming. planetarium is a very pretty ballad however, sure to please the fans! May 30, 2006 oooh here she comin'!But she's just getting started! yes this is quite the little pop song. its got a killer guitar hook that drives this crazy fun song. born to be...is good. i just would rather listen to startin'. born to be is very theatical...i think she's got a choir going on it is..i don't know.. good single though! Keep Tryin' (Japan Version)
May 30, 2006 keep tryin'...just a little!!Okay!! keep tryin' is a trippy...moody new joint from hikki! It's really great!! the video is good too. However...the b-side...WINGS. is really unmemorable. i haven't yet detected a melody when i listen to it. and i really tried hard to like this song..unfortunately it's taking up place on the her new album as well. it's really boring. so to that i say..."hikki!!! try a little harder...you're doing good..but it could be better!" Lonely in Gorgeous (Japan Version)
1 people found the following helpful
May 27, 2006 yay tommy!! whoo hoo tommy!"lonely in gorgeous" is a good song. however i perfer the other two cuts much more. They are very 80's and very catchy. so if you don't like 80's music..you probably won't like this. i think i like "email-more" the best and than "is this feeling love?" and then lonely in gorgeous. yes the production in email more is sparse..but the beat is so danceable. the more i listened to it the more i found myself bobbing my head and tapping my fingers."is this feeling love?" is a bit more dramatic. so in a sense...this album has a little bit of every mood. solid single..i'm buying it! I'm Gonna Scream+ (Normal Edition)(Japan Version)
(1)Our Price: US$15.25Usually ships within 7 daysMay 27, 2006 hellz yeah!!okay. so based off the strength sololy of i'm gonna scream, i have not heard the other new song, tommy is back and rockin harder than ever.. i mean seriously folks..this chick has one of the dirtiest, hardest guitar riffs of the year! i wish more of her heavenly songs were this hardcore. if you liked gothic pink you'll like this...its just more edgier...i think i'll wait for the album to buy it..but defintely a good start. Kokoro no Senshi (Normal Edition)(Japan Version)
(1)Our Price: US$15.25Usually ships within 7 daysMay 24, 2006 excellent single..okay songKokoro no senshi defintely picks up the pace and intensity of the first single..but her "yeah-eh yeahs" are too prevalent. it's a good song. but i really love all the other songs she tacked on to this single. i love her faster-piano driven-english cover of "eyes on me" such a great final fantasy theme and she does it justice. then there's today. which is a smashing pumpkins cover sung in japanese. never nice melody. and then there's "sore wa..." not sure about the romaji..but she wrote it and it also is a keeper. great single!! can't wait to own it! Kiss Me Good-Bye (Normal Edition)(Japan Version)
Kiss Me Good-Bye (Normal Edition)(Japan Version)
(1)Our Price: US$15.25Usually ships within 7 daysMay 24, 2006 excellent song....okay single.i love final fantasy..so i was anxiously awaiting this release. i like the japanese and english versions, which it includes. though they are not produced the same. the japanese version has more piano and drums...the english version is more orchestera focused. but i really love the fact that i can understand the lyrics and i like the lyrics. its a different type of love song..it's about loving someone to let them go and do what they need to..even though that means they won't be with you. the other songs are Santa Fe and a cover of "whiter shade of pale" sung in japanese. Santa Fe was written by her and is in english. unfortunately it's very reptitive and it goes on too long. its not a bad song..i just can't get into listening to it. now. whiter shade of pale is a good song. i like it.but i just don't like this version. i mean she does s good job..but wish she had kept it in english and it does go on too long. however i would reccomend this single. on the strength of the lead single and the strong possibility that you will disagree with me about the other two songs. especially if you like her...and are a fan like i am. Faith / Pureyes (Hong Kong Version)
May 24, 2006 not her best.it's a shame that her second single just wasn't up to par with her first. but even if you like this single..which i learned to..it's just not as good. faith is a nice ballad..but painfully unmemorable and unoriginal. however..one morning i was really tired and i had my walkman on repeat and i listened to it for like 2 hours straight. and i like it now. however..i've always really liked pureyes. its a catchy-poppy fun song. and it's the reason i'm getting this single..especially for this new price..which i'm loving!! Precious (Hong Kong Version)
May 24, 2006 finally!!! a cheaper version!!i'm totally buying this single now!! i can't get enough of Yuna!! she has a beautiful voice. and precious is one of her best ballads to date. the b-sides are also very nice. I'm free has an uplifting gospel feeling going on..and though it's a very new style for her she pulls it off. and secrets is a pretty standard r&b song...but it's just nice having so many new songs from her. so even when precious makes her new album..it will still be nice to have these two b-sides since they are memorable. Go My Way (Japan Version)
5 people found the following helpful
May 24, 2006 it's okay.i can't really get over this chicks voice. i don't think it's that good. but...go my way is a very interesting song. it features a horn section and really killer base line..it's overall a really crazy, fuzzy production. maybe one her better choruses...but no matter how many times i try to listen to it..i can't get into it as much as i would like to. lost emotion in darkness..the b side..sounds like "missing" by everything but the girl. i would be surprised if they ripped the base line right out of that song. it also has the unfortunate perfect english voice over. it just sounds corny. and though the song is not bad..i don't find myself wanting to listen to it again and again. so if you're a hitomi fan...you'll be pleased! LOVE IS BUBBLE (Japan Version)
1 people found the following helpful
May 24, 2006 a new excellent soundlove is bubble..though containing some confusing lyrics...has a great melody and some awesome production. It sounds..if you can imagine..like 40's swing music..in the vein of songs like "zut, zut riot" and "shake rattle and roll" and it's quite sassy. but when i think about the title of the song and the other lyrics in the song that i understand, i think she's saying that love doesn't matter..or have any weight..like a bubble. it sounds like she's playing the role of a prostitute. with words like "money for me, pleasure for you" and "i want bubble, i want trouble, but i could be loveable if you pay me double". it's really catchy and and lots of fun. as for the two live performances tacked on...do you crash is the most mermorable and i really liked...couldn't really get into orange..but for people already familiar with the songs..i've sure you'll love it!
