Andy Lau is perhaps one of the most popular Hong Kong stars on the big screen as well as on the music stage. He has captured the hearts of countless fans over the years with his charismatic voice. After a too-long wait, Andy's Voice finally returns with a new Cantonese album. Andy's latest album is based on the concept of "contemplating the voices of the world". With all lyrics covered by famed lyricist Lin Xi and Andy Lau himself, Voice uses positive music to answer to all the negativity in the world. For this album, Andy worked with many up-and-coming singer-songwriters including Pong Nan, Khalil Fong, and Ivana Wong.

The album's main plug Lei Dou Lei (Track 3) is the theme song to hit Mainland China film Crazy Stone, which is a part of Andy's Focus Films project for promising young directors. Penned by Andy, the lyrics of the song criticize certain members of society who are out to hurt other people. Andy also spreads his caring message with the album's only Mandarin track, "Sweetheart" (Track 11), which is the campaign song for China's Hepatitis Awareness Day.
