Sadly, it is only a EP and therefore contains fewer tracks than his first two albums. Close Up follows very closely to the style of music from his first two albums. The 5 tracks contained in this album are all very good. Track 5 - On Every Line took a while to grow on me, but is one of the more upbeat tracks of the five.
My favourite track on this album is Track 2 - 你瞞我瞞. If you listen to the lyrics in it, you will find it rather meaningful. It really brings out Jason's voice and makes you appreciate his vocals, and not just one of those hip artists that only sells albums cos they have the looks only. Track 1 - I will Be Loving You is closely followed after Track 2. Track 1 actually reminds me of 'I Miss You' from his 2nd album - Change.
Track 3 - 我們的門牌 is another up beat track, whilst Track 4 - 逸後 is another mellow love song. This track is also very likeable when listened to after a few times and you follow the lyrics and meaning of the song.
Although this EP is a little on the expensive side for 5 tracks only, if you are a big Jason Chan fan, it is worth investing in. It is a shame this album contains so few a tracks, and would be even better if it was a full album. Playing it on repeat doesn't seem to be as satisfying as listening to his other albums, in some ways it does feel there could be more, but it just isn't there. However, I have given this 5 stars because the songs on this album is really worth listening to and goes to show Jason Chan has stepped up a mark from when he first entered the music scene.
The good thing is that it does come with a DVD with 3 of the tracks, so you can enjoy watching the MVs and get a taste of the stories in the songs.Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -

March 25, 2008 No more worries......???This bear arrived in a plain box wrapped in tissue paper. It was as I expected, very cute with a red ribbon tied round it's neck, and not too big. The material used for this bear is not fur, but similar to canvas type material. Its paws is made from a suede like material. The design is very different from normal bears, it is a checked design. It looks exactly like the Manito bear in Goong S.
For the price paid, this is a quality bear. The workmanship is of a high standard; no wonky eyes or nose (unlike some cheaper and massed manufactured teddy bears). It is quite a squeezable bear, a mixture of soft stuffing and beads. This bear is made by the Jeju Teddy Bear Museum (as featured in both Goong and Goong S dramas). On the back of the bear, it has a leather tag stating so.
Although I bought Alfred replica bear from Goong as well. The 2 bears cannot by compared, as they have their own individual characteristics. I love them both equally. Unlike Alfred, you cannot move the arms & legs of the worry bear. However, the worry bear makes a great travelling companion if you like carrying around a teddy in your bag or for when you go away on trips away from home and need a cuddly companion when you sleep.
The worry bear is great as a gift, especially for someone that worries alot. I will definitely be getting a second one to go towards my collection and the one I have to go beside my bed as I worry so much. The bear is also recommended as a collector's item to Teddy bear collectors, and/or for Goong S fans!
I cannot guarantee this worry bear will take away your worries and stresses in life, but I do know it will put a smile on your face when you see it and hold it.

January 16, 2008 Alfred: A Traditional BearReceived Alfred the teddy bear yesterday after ordering it on New year's day. The 2 weeks waiting for it was worth it. Alfred was carefully wrapped in tissue paper and placed inside the box. Also inside the box were 3 postcards (as shown in the picture gallery for this product on this site) of Prince Shin and Alfred teddy, and him and his family. Some effort has been put in to make the box very appealing by adding English and Korean writing about the joys of teddy bears. On the side of the box it mentions Alfred being given to Prince Shin when he was 5 years old. On the front of the box, it says Alfred and Shin Lee. There is also a plastic wrap around the box when I opened up the parcel. This is useful if you want to protect the box as well as the teddy. The box is not a flap box but a slide open one.
Alfred itself, is of high workmanship. For the price paid, it is very good quality and very very cute. Unlike other teddy bears I have bought in the past for a similar price, this teddy bear is of much superior quality and is very much a collector's item if you do not want to play with it. The bear is made or commissioned by Jeju's Teddy Bear Museum in Korea. The leather tag on the back of the bear states this. Hence, a high quality bear. Reminds me of Steiff bears. It is quite hard/stiff. The arms and legs can be repositioned, and the fur of the bear is quite soft. It really does look like Prince Shin's one in Princess Hours (in my opinion, even cuter!). However, I do think this one might be a little bigger in size than the orginal one used in the K-drama. Nonetheless, it is worth buying if you like to collect teddy bears or if you are a big fan of Goong!

I always liked their music, and use to borrow the tapes from my siblings to listen to, but now I can finally have my own collection to listen to on my mp3.

March 6, 2006 Bbae Ru........so adorable......my cutie!!!!This arrived in the post today. I ordered it about 5 days ago, and couldn't wait for it to arrive. What a worthwhile wait. This is really cute and cuddly!! What's more, it came in a plastic wrap tied with a ribbon, so if you don't want Bbae Ru to get dusty and dirty, you can leave it in the wrap or wrap it back up again once you finished cuddling it! The size of the Bbae Ru is quite big (well big enough to get a good hug from), so is well worth the money paid for, and the quality of workmanship is excellent. February 12, 2006 Do type B make great boyfriends..........?I watched the trailer of this film and was really intrigued by it, so brought it, and it is really a good buy! I have watched this several times, and found it very funny, but there are some bittersweet scenes in it too. This is definitely a romantic comedy, and definitely another Korean movie I would recommend to anyone into a bit of romance. Really good to watch with a date indoors. Lee Dong Gun is really cute in the film, and portrays the so-called arrogant-pathetic boyfriend really well. His role doesn't make you fell frustrated, but in someways it makes you feel sorry for him and sympathetic. It is a bittersweet romantic movie. The storyline is well written, and a good length for a movie. I have watched this over and over again. Having watched the Korean version (with English subtitles) and the Cantonese dubbed version, obviously the Korean version is better, but the Cantonese version is well translated. This DVD version also comes with extras, such as a movie gallery, the trailer and behind the scenes filming. It is really worth getting this and it is worth every penny. The actors/actresses are really good....Moon Guen Young played the innocent Chae-ryn to perfection, and Park Gun Hyung was great as the protective guy Young-sae! The soundtrack to this film was well conducted and made the film that much more emotional to watch. Every tune made every scene tug at one's heartstrings. February 12, 2006 Innocent Tunes to Innocent StepsHaving listened to the the OST of Innocent Steps, I have to say it contains all the backing sounds to create the film's atmosphere. Basically all the tunes on the album is from the film, and you will only notice this if you have paid detailed attention to the film and the backing music or soundtrack itself.
I really liked listening to this OST as it brought back memories of the film without having to watch the film itself, or run the film itself on my PC. Most of the album is instrumental, so I would only recommend this OST to those who are looking for something beyond the songs from the film, but to those who are looking for a general feel of the film. The album does contain a couple of songs from the film, such as 1000 years (played during the rumba dance). Also, Evening Fragance with a Korean version as well as the Chinese version. However, the only disappoint from this OST is that it doesn't have the song from the samba dance, which I really liked listening to when watching the film.

It is a bittersweet love story, and Moon Geun Young depicted the character in the most innocent way. It is a movie full of emotion, and enough to tug at anyone's heart. I watched this film 5 times on a 13 hour plane journey and cried over 5 times. The film has a very good ending. It is well written and devised.
I would really recommend this and hope it becomes an international hit. It is the first time I have seen Park Gun Hyung's films and I really liked his acting...he came across as the protective guy, which any girl in this world would feel secure with.
I particularly liked the soundtrack and the dance scenes, which were captivating.
I have seen a few dance movies such as Dirty Dancing (american) and Strictly Ballroom (australian), but the feeling that this Korean movie leaves with me cannot be felt in those films. In some way, this film leaves me with the feeling of hope for what lies ahead in the future, and although the movie did make me weep, it left me with the feeling of complete happiness at the end of it.Did you find this review helpful? It is based around the Mong Kok area of Hong Kong, and brought back alot of memories of my trips to Mong Kok on my recent visit to Hong Kong. The 5 love stories cross one another at various times, some of them bittersweet.
I would definitely recommend this film to all film fans interested in the romance genre...and particularly this film appeals to an audience in their teens to early 30s. It is a well scripted film, and the soundtrack isn't bad, with Nguen Yuen (cantonese) sang by Wilfred Lau, and a mini love song (mandarin) sang on stage by Hins Cheung. This film really appealed to me, cos the actors were fairly new to me, apart from Ron Ng.
