Maybe the story was just a little too tradgic and long. It is well understood in my part going in that this show is going be fill with sad parts, thus i shouldn't be complaining how sad it got. The most facinating part of this show is of course chae rim. She is just so gorgeous. So i guess if people can deal with all the tradgic ending to many of the characters, then this is a well worth drama. Lots of well acted parts and a strong cast. Plus it doesn't hurt to look at Chae Rim

I love this drama. It is funny, romantic, and very very sad. The love story is almost but not exactly like Romeo and Juliet. I remember the Shaw Brothers version of this and it is pretty good as well. A lot of Alec Su's dramas are good and he is a great actor. It's worth buying.

 second collaboration btw Chae Rim and Alec Su stil Customer Review Rated Bad 9 - 9 out of 10
This is the second collaboration for taiwanese hunk Alec Su and korean babe Chae Rim. Although they do haf good chemistry, Alec seems to fare better as the 4th brother - he manages to pull off very poignant scenes where his expressions and mannerisms encapsulate the struggles that his character goes through. This is the maiden effort of Chae Rim in an ancient series and that could explain for abit of the awkwardness. Also the dubbing for ChaeRim's character was much much much better in Aegan sea unlike her where it just sounds totally off. Nonetheless get this drama if you not only want to enjoy a nice romance story but also witness the heart-breaking loyalty of the Yang Clan that goes unappreciated and finally even brings death and destruction to their family. You will lvoe and hate the characters in this series. This series is based loosely on true happenings.

gosh!! alec su is sooo cute in this movie...i love his acting in here...to bad the verison i've seen has too many cut outs...sucks man!..but they both (alec su and chae rim) did a wonderful job, including all the cast and crews too...

Everyone especially Chae Rim & Alec Su, did a wonderful job. They were a great couple in here & in Love Of The Aegean Sea. I loved Angie in here too, her character dat she portrayed realli made me think dat she was a strong woman. I cried a lot fer dis series, it was so sad.

did he die or what? alex su? omg. i thought that was the end of the movie, i was gonna say that it suck then i found out that there was a part II. so excited. did yu yang and si lang get married? man that movie is like a death movie. EVERYONE IS GONNA DIEE. rawr. that`s saddd. but alex su is like whoa (;

I thought it was good! although very sad near the end and at the very end, but overall the story was great! since it was real history, i can't argue about the death of the main character at the end, although i didn't want it to happen... well, it is recommanded, and the lover of the main character, who's korean i think, is cute, she's not the prettiest, but her smile is so nice!

...i cant believe it...this movie is so good...its so sad too...like it made me cry...but other than that...its such a great movie...even though i havent see the ending to it...the begining and middle was great...this movie is the bomb...and yea alec su was so cute...well yea...this is one of the best movie that i've seen...loving it so muche!!!
