Lu Zihao (Leon Jay Williams) is a top fashion designer who first won recognition with the design of a wedding gown. The dress was tailored for his fiancee who passed away before wearing it. Since then his fashion empire keeps growing but he has not designed a single wedding gown until he meets Tao Aiching (Cyndi Wang)...
Cheng Hainuo (Ming Dao), a wild race car driver who impresses ladies of all ages, treasures only his racing car. But a car accident brings him to Aiching who becomes more valuable than anything else to him.

一段愛與守候的故事……
艾青終於來到夢想中的巴黎…。而在同時，子皓也在巴黎接受國際時尚大獎---桂冠獎。兩人在一家個人藝術的小店裡同時看上了一隻小木馬而吵了起來，最後在店主的默許下，艾青得到木馬。機場和機上的不期而遇，兩人對彼此更沒好感，均慶幸以後不會再遇上，不料兩人的命運卻從此緊緊糾纏在一起……
陶家莊是艾青的爺爺與過世的奶奶開墾出來的小農莊，也是爺爺心目中的桃花源，所以守護陶家莊一直是艾青視為天職的工作。有天農場的祥和被突如其來的引擎聲打亂，而肇事者程海諾卻因受傷而昏倒。在一片混亂中，子皓的助理Freddie和律師拿著契約要求她與爺爺在短期內搬家，因為艾青的哥哥已將農莊出賣，陶家莊將全面改建為環球集團的公司用地，艾青為了保住農莊，她前去買主的公司，卻愕然發現買主竟然就是為她在巴黎留下不快印象的子皓。
想起巴黎之行，雖然心中有氣，艾青還是低下頭希望子皓能夠打消改建農莊的念頭，子皓當然不甩艾青的請求。艾青鍛羽而歸，還來不及消化內心的沮喪又要趕著把農莊做好的冰淇淋送到賽實場邊的攤販，正好趕上賽車比賽結束，海諾拿下首獎的時刻。海諾的眼力極佳，在一片人海中，一眼便看到了艾青，當下把到手的獎杯扔給同伴，推開擁擠的人潮，在眾目睽睽之下，直接對艾青表示要艾青當他心目中的公主。
艾青顧不得旁邊眾多女孩嫉妒又羨慕的眼光，只覺得這是一場莫名其妙的玩笑，這還真是倒楣的一天！
一天過去了，但是艾青的麻煩還沒結束，當她酒醉醒來發現自己竟然躺在海諾的床上，簡直是睛天霹靂……

This series is very good at first and dragging in the middle. Acting is only average. The songs are good but nothing so special. Overall it's an okay series. Angela Chang is only a guest star here. |

This drama isn't awful, but it isn't particularly good, either. The plot is all right, although it gets a little draggy at points. Cyndi Wang XinLin's character is rather annoying in this, and you can tell that she's a new actress (she's since improved, in my opinion)... she "overacts." Ming Dao, though, the second male lead (HaiNuo), does a very good job. I wouldn't put it on the same level as his performance in WZBQW (Prince Turns Into a Frog), but this is still a good drama for his fans to watch... although he clearly doesn't wind up with the girl. For me, though, the WORST part of this drama was Leon Jay Williams. Firstly, I don't find him attractive... but more importantly, his acting is awful. He only shows off a grand total of two expressions throughout the whole drama! Not only that, since he can't speak much Mandarin (he's only 1/4 Singaporean), his sentences (seriously) consist of half Singaporean-British-accented English in the first half... then a few words of poorly spoken Mandarin in the second. This could be somewhat tolerable if he didn't read even his English lines in a monotone, completely-devoid-of-feeling voice. He DOES manage to look tragic when he's supposed to (which I'm sure girls who find him cute will like)... but I just hate everything about the way he delivers his lines. Sorry. :x After that rant, though... I have to say that even though this drama doesn't top my list of recommendations at all, I think it's probably worth the asking price. Don't go in with particularly high expectations, but it isn't without its entertainment value or romantic moments. |

agreed w/below reviewer - gosh the only thing good about this are some of the casts - the pretty model g/f, the 2 male leads & u dont know where on earth they got the female lead hahahahaha.....i mean sometimes i u/s singers can be an attress but cant they just sing? ahhahahah so freaking short & unattractive. sometimes u dont know where the taiwanese directors get their female leads, they just look horrible. like the dolphin bay girl - i heard she's a famous singer as well? sighh.... shes in quite a couple of series' & she always looks awful just like this cindy wang girl..... and the toasters boy girl - w/lee wei - gosh she looks horrible too - part I - why do they cast such unattractive female leads? the best ones are prince turns frog - the female lead looks alright - & of course meteor garden - barbie - she's not the prettiest but gosh at least she's cute & all. =======================================================loved leon, hated cyndi Wednesday, April 19, 2006 Reviewer: Sylvia (See all this customer reviews) The only good thing about this drama is Leon's cuteness. you can buy this drama on-line by the buyer name wonder8137...it comes with english subtitle too i wanted to buy a copy for myself, but was unsure! is ming dao really in this drama??? i want to know if he is the main cast or not?? i like him a lot and that is the reason why i want this movie, only if he is the hero of the movie??? |
