Consistently inconsistent film
| Kim Sun Ah stars in "Wet Dreams" and really is the only reason to watch it. She looks beautiful and imbues her character with a wonderfully comic mix of innocence, smarts, tenderness, and sexuality. The rest of the movie is a mish mash of Hollywood "B" movie cliches. This is a script that was crying out for a thorough rewriting. Recommended only for those seeking to compile the complete works of Kim Sun Ah. |

Hilarious!
|
This movie is just so hilariously funny. I watched it twice in a row. Kim Sun A is pretty good looking when she's not made to wear dull frumpy clothes. Despite the title, the movie is funny without being crude. It's really a riot from beginning to end! |

Pretty good
| I always meant to see this movie, but somehow never got around to it. Eventually I saw Sex is Zero first, so after seeing that, this movie doesn't seem as funny. I would recommend Sex is Zero for more laughs, but this one can hold its own as a more innocent but entertaining story of teens struggling with...you know. |

pretty funny
| When I first saw this movie, I thought it would be a Korean version of American Pie. It was that funny. This movie is mostly about adolescent boys dealing with their sexual anxiety and partly about a romantic comedy. It can be cheesy in a couple scenes but its not that bad. |

A Romantic Comedy Version of "CHINGU" With Young T
|
After seeing touching, sad, and more melancholly dramas, this comedy about the hardships of making the transition from boyhood to manhood was a welcomed and refreshing change. The director take a pure comedic approach to the making of this film. And it works - really well. Without giving anything away, I can tell you this is one of those movies where you will laugh out loud at some of the hysterics these young men put themselves through in search of sexual knowledge. Often misguided and clueless - but with good intent, their conversations are classic good humour comedy...granted not all the jokes are 'clean' but even then, it's more shocking than disgusting, or dirty/offensive. This movie will be a huge hit with men. It will remind them of their own pubescent hardships when you wanted to know but didn't know just how to ask...and how those buddies from your childhood grew with you into the relam of manhood...there is a sense of comaraderie here and the director does a good job in showing it. As a source of entertainment, it was 8/10. This is not an artistic movie that make profound statements about life. If you want to remenesce about your boyhood days, think about your buddies from the past, and be on the floor laughing out loud, then this is the movie for you. That one kid (you'll know who I refer to when you see him) is so hilarious -> he actually reminds me of "Uncle Tak" (Stephen Chow's co-star). I'm planning on seeing it again...then buying the dvd. |
