Uhh...who sings these songs? Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
So the cd is good but every single song sounds like a namie amuro knock off...the voices and singing voice. and at least half the songs have a guest on it. but the sounds do have good hooks. Its not a waste of oney at all. go aheasd and add it to your jpop collection.

Good Urban Music Customer Review Rated Bad 9 - 9 out of 10
This collaboration album has a lot of style, with Namie as the main vocal singer. All songs are very catchy and to the beat. You won't be dissapointed:) My favorites are "uh uh", "damn fight", "whats on your mind". A good CD for your Amuro collection.

Great Music To Get You Moving Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
For those who were wondering, Suite Chic is basically Namie Amuro, but working in collaboration with some pretty big names as far as the producers of the tracks go (think Verbal, Daisuke Imai, Firstklas). This album is then, of course, pretty hip-hop and R&B heavy, but it's not overpowering, really. Remember, that Namie is still a pop singer, so she brings the pop feel to the songs through her vocals. In general, I'd say this album is more like her Style album than Queen of Hip-Pop, and almost felt like it would have been succesful if it were marketed as the follow-up to Style. As I listened to the album, there were a few tracks that seemed to run together, not because of their melodies, but because their rhythms and tempos were a bit similar. But there were enough tracks on this album that were able to mix things up and really keep you interested the whole time. There is no question about one thing with this album, though. Every track is completely danceable, and the chorus for most of the songs will end up getting stuck in your head. Best example of this on this CD is Uh Uh,,,,,, featuring AI. They came up with a great chorus for this track, and weren't afraid to keep using it in the song. And I'm glad they did. It's so catchy that by the end of the song, you'll be singing "how do you like it, baby, shake it fast, shake it slow" and not even realize it. Favorites on this album were Baby Be Mine, Damn Fight, What If, Uh Uh,,,,,, Ain't Yours, and Just Say So.

Used to but now... Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
I remember when i first listened to Amuro Namie online, it was around june of 2003. I didn't like her that much, maybe it was her voice, or the music, but it was just a song i listened to now and then. But after Namie's so called "break" from the music industry, she came back hitting hard with her new "Style" album which symbolized her growth and transition from one music genere to the next. The first song that caught my attention from that album was " Put 'Em Up," i thought maybe i should try the album to see if it was good or not ( since now that hip-hop is sweeping the nation) I was really suprised that her new singing style and music choice was really good, and really unique. I believe that Amuro Namie's transition and compilation/collaboration with other artist was the new era for her. This album is cool.

This is worth every penny! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
If you are trying to decide whether to buy this, buy it!! This CD is worth every penny. I like EVERY song on this album and that is very rare with most CDs out there today which usually only have one or two good songs! It was so worth it. 10/10.
YOU WILL LOVE IT!

At first when I heard about the project I was like ....ah ...whatever, but then when I actually heard it , I was like WHAT!! This CD is "Off The Hook!!" (AWESOME), actually it is the best JR&B CD I have heard in a while. This is definetly a "MUST BUY", believe me, when you hear my girl Namie Amuro's voice on top of those hot beats you will not be dissapointed. Peace!!

Surprise Hit Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
I grew up listening to a lot of rap/hip-hop/dance music of my generation (think Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, etc.). Basically I was very skeptical of this album since Asian hip-hop is generally very...poor. While SUITE CHIC isn't "hardcore" or anything, but I found that the "hip-pop" sound it carries works well. In fact, I'm very much in love with this album. I think they got the attitude right for "hip-pop" and the very dancable tracks are all fantastic. All of the contributors of the album are convincing in their performances. It's great headphones music and I completely recommend it.
