    March 25, 2002 Disappointing. Customer Review Rated Bad 6 - 6 out of 10
I consider myself priviledged to be able to hear this amazingly talented singer. Forget utada hikaru and ayumi hamasaki, Lyrico's vocal abilities are the best you'll ever hear guaranteed. And after hearing her singles "Tears in Christmas" and "True Romance" I figured her music would be equally amazing. But as the title says, I was really let down. The first song was great as I already mentioned, and then we move right into the ballad "I Say I'm Sorry", which shows tons of emotion and is a great song. So I figure the album as a whole will turn out pretty well. But then there's "Tender Rain". Then "Game". Both songs are R&B music and don't at all highlight Lyrico's singing ability and I disliked both. This really made me wonder how the album would turn out as a whole. Her Celine Dion cover "Immortality" turned out great and her English was perfect, but then "Lies" and "Kiss Me Again" were more R&B songs that are just extremely boring and annoying to an extent. "You'll Be Alright" is more like a gospel song and very good and fun. And then of course "Tears in Christmas", the single that got me into Lyrico in the first place. Overall, all her slow songs are great, and the rest is all R&B stuff which is just boring. I was expecting more ballads or the gospel type music but I didn't exactly get that. "Tender Lights" is disappointing unless you like slow R&B stuff that does no justice to Lyrico's outstanding voice.

March 20, 2002 Pure Porno goodness Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
"shiawase ni tsuite honki dashite kangaete mita" may not be my favorite Porno song, but this single is the best I've ever heard. "shiawase ni..." is an upbeat track, featuring fast drum beats and an accompying orchestra. Akihito has rapid-fire vocals to keep up with the speed of the song, which he manages perfectly. This song is an obvious single, and the best that they've released for their upcoming album on 3/27. But the single wouldn't be complete without the coupling tracks. "TV STAR" is a medium-tempo song that is much more serious, actually, with Akihito's voice in a lower tone. I'm not sure how the general reaction to this song would be, but personally, I really enjoy it and it might be my favorite song on here. In total contrast to the previous song, "KIMI e no DRIVE" is the fastest, most upbeat song on the single. It's completely ska, with the funky beats and horn section and everything. It's a very fun song, with lots of joyful singing from Akihito to keep the tempo up. This is a fresh and welcome style from Porno Graffitti and I'm glad they have fun with themselves with songs like this from time to time. On a whole, the single just rules. I've preferred some of their earlier songs, but this single is THE single to get. All the songs are great, and it provides great variety, even if it is just three songs. This is Porno Graffitti at their best.

February 13, 2002 Another great release Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
I loved both previous albums and this one didn't let me down at all. The songs don't have as much variance between them as the last two albums did, but it can't be denied that this CD still has great music. It also lacks a "bad" song... both Z-HARD and D.N.A. had one or two tracks that were just not good, but with GAIA, all the songs are great. The singles for this album, "seed", "SHIRUBIA", and "feel the wind" are all extremely excellent songs too. I cannot recommend this CD to you more. If you haven't heard Janne Da Arc... or even if you have, get this album now!

October 23, 2001 yet again... Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
Porno Graffitti has released another great single! I've been a fan since first album ROMANTIST EGOIST, and they're still producing great music. This is very much a ballad, using a lot of piano and strings along with the typical guitars and bass. They've composed a very touching melody, and Akihito puts a lot of energy and emotion into his singing. Truly a great song. The coupling track is, as c/ws usual are, not as good, but certainly not bad. It has sort of a jerk-y melody, and not a whole lot of emotion, but the melody is still good and it's not a bad song at all. It's definitely a C/W though, and probably wouldn't be a good choice for an album song, if they do release an album (I sure hope they do!!)

    October 19, 2001 catchy @_@ Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
Well, the title track is REALLY cute. That's the easiest way to put it. As the little review by the site here says, it's very upbeat and techno-ish as well, but at the same time, very lighthearted and, again, VERY cute. I can tell this one is going to be caught in my head a lot, because it's got a very catchy melody as well. I think you'll like this song very much if you her more upbeat songs like Swimming. And if you don't, I'm sure it'll grow on you.
