　　《軒轅劍外傳：雲之遙》具濃厚水墨氣氛的場景，與製作團隊「DOMO小組」耗時兩年打造全新遊戲系統，內容包括熱血沸騰的戰鬥系統與不可或缺的煉化鍛造系統，還特別增加獨特的辨識系統與創新的地城系統，希望要讓玩家體驗變化多端的遊戲樂趣。

　　戰鬥系統內的行伍系統將會不同以往，本次取消戰鬥中更換前後排的功能，而改為一場戰鬥中能直接調度的隊員僅為場上的四名。環環相扣的屬性關係分為「太陰」、「玄陽」與「幽冥」三種，以及最基本的「無屬性」，每種屬性都有生剋影響。若在戰鬥過程中，物理攻擊與敵方屬性相剋即可追加攻擊，讓玩家趁勝追擊。

　　為了讓玩家打怪打出趣味，「DOMO 小組」特別強化Boss戰的玩法與增添戰鬥劇情，每場戰鬥都有意想不到的新奇玩法。並且延續了《軒轅劍》系列的法寶系統，《軒轅劍外傳：雲之遙》加入了更多系列作膾炙人口的法寶玩法於其中，透過在戰鬥中的法寶修練，不斷累積經驗值，可以培養法寶成長，成為戰鬥中另類的打怪利器。
